In this kind of sunroof type, the sunroof itself is a hard plate and cannot be folded, so it is necessary to secure a storage space for the sunroof in the roof, so it is necessary to provide a large opening in the roof. I couldn't do it.

This is a flat top that slides over the top of the roof of an automobile, and is folded up like an accordion curtain so that an opening on the top of the roof can be opened and closed. However, the conventional example shown in Fig. 7 is an example of a bonnet type passenger car, and when applied to a large roof such as a cab-over-pan type (one box type) car, ■ A flat canopy roof has a large opening. is not obtained. ■The larger the canopy roof becomes, the more complex the opening/closing device becomes, and the greater the operating force becomes. In addition, the space for folding and storing the canopy roof becomes large, and the open feeling of the roof opening is diminished. There were some problems.

In this opening 3, reinforcing beams 4 and 5 are installed horizontally at positions lower than the upper surface of the roof 2 and at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction of the automobile 1. A small portion of the roof surface 2a remains at the rear end of the opening 3, and a roof surface 2b for storing a hood is formed in front of it. That is, this canopy storage roof surface 2b and the reinforcing beams 4 and 5 have the same height and are both formed with an opening in cross section, and their lower edges are fixed to the side surface of the roof portion 2. can be completely stored on the hood storage roof surface 2b and fixed to the vehicle body using a locking device as appropriate. (Refer to Fig. 4) As described above, the automobile roof structure according to the present example has an opening that covers almost the entire top and side surfaces of the automobile roof, and this opening has an opening that extends in the longitudinal direction of the automobile roof. A flexible roof member that can be slid and folded is provided so that the opening can be opened and closed in a sliding manner. The opening can be opened and closed in the front and back direction by rolling along a slide rail arranged in the front and back direction, thereby opening not only the top surface of the car roof but also the side surface. In addition, a large opening not found in conventional sunroof cars can be obtained, giving a more expansive feeling of openness. Moreover, since the roof member is foldable and rollers roll within the sight rail, the roof member can be easily opened and closed from inside the vehicle.

That is, in this example, as shown in FIG. 5, the roof member 8 is divided into a front roof member 8a and a rear roof member 8b. The front roof member 8a is connected to the front edge of the roof 2 of the automobile 1.
The front opening 3a formed by the reinforcing beam 4 installed horizontally is covered with the front opening 3a, and the rear edge of the front root member 8a is fixed to the reinforcing beam 4, and the front root The front edge of the member 8a is connected to locking members 9a, 9 fixed to the front edge of the roof portion 2.
It is hung on a. Thus, the front room root member 8a is moved in the front-back direction within the front opening 3a via the roller 10 along the slide rails 6a, 6b, and the front handle lla
By operating the front opening 3a, the front opening 3a can be opened and closed in the front-rear direction. When the front opening 3a is fully open, the front room root member 8a is folded and stored in the reinforcing beam 4 and is appropriately locked by a locking means.

段にて係止きれる。On the other hand, the rear roof member 8b is covered with the rear opening 3b formed by the reinforcing beam 4 and the top storage roof surface 2b, and the rear edge of the rear roof member 8b is covered with the top storage roof surface 2b. The rear roof member 8b is fixedly installed, and the front edge of the rear roof member 8b is hooked to locks 9b, 9b fixed to the reinforcing beam 4. In this way, the rear roof member 8b is moved along the slide rails 6a and 8 in the front and rear direction through the rollers 10 inside the rear opening 3b.
b, and by operating the rear handle llb, the rear opening 3b can be opened and closed in the front-rear direction. When the rear opening 3b is fully open, the rear roof member 8b can be folded and stored on the top storage roof surface 2b and can be properly locked by a locking means.

例とほぼ同様である。In this example, since the roof member 8 is divided into two parts, front and rear, the front and rear openings 3a and 3b can be opened and closed as desired, and the rear opening can be opened while the front opening 3a is fully open. 3b can be opened and closed, and vice versa. Therefore, the roof can be opened and closed independently on the driver's seat side and the rear passenger seat side, which has the effect of further improving the operability of the roof members 8a and 8b and expanding the flexibility of opening and closing the roof. Other effects are almost the same as in the first embodiment.

The opening is configured so that it can be opened and closed in a sliding manner, and the opening is opened not only on the top surface of the car roof but also on the side, which provides an extremely wide opening compared to conventional sunroof cars. This has the effect of providing an open feeling similar to that of an oven car. Furthermore, since the roof member is foldable and can be slid in the front and rear directions, opening and closing operations are easy, and the opening and closing area can be set arbitrarily.
