して触媒作用により燃焼する内燃機関の排気微粒
子処理装置において、前記触媒付トラツプ入口部
の排気温度を検出する入口部排気温度検出手段と
、前記触媒付トラツプ出口部の排気温度を検出す
る出口部排気温度検出手段と、排気中の酸素濃度
を検出する酸素濃度検出手段と、前記触媒付トラ
ツプに空気を供給する空気供給装置と、検出され
た出口部の排気温度が入口部の排気温度より所定
値以上高いか否かを判定する判定手段と、前記出
口部の排気温度が前記入口部の排気温度より所定
値以上高いと判定されかつその高い状態が所定時
間維持されたとき若しくは検出された排気の酸素
濃度が所定値以下のときに前記空気供給装置を作
動させる空気制御装手段と、を備えたことを特徴
