る第2排気還流装置と、機関の運転状態を検出す
る運転状態検出手段と、検出された運転状態に基
づいて第1排気還流装置を作動制御し排気還流率
を制御する第1制御手段と、排気温度が前記触媒
の不活性領域となる運転状態を検出する不活性領
域検出手段と、該運転状態でかつ触媒付トラツプ
の再生時期と判定されたときに前記第1排気還流
装置と第2排気還流装置とを作動制御する第2制
御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の排
