Conventionally, stairs have been designed to make effective use of relatively narrow spaces such as in prefabricated houses, allowing the back side to be used effectively as a storage area, as well as being superior in terms of design. Because of the different angles of inclination, it is necessary to carve grooves on-site at the locations where the treads and risers are attached to the inner surface of the side panels, and this groove carving process is relatively time-consuming. For this reason, various methods have been devised to allow treads and risers to be attached without machining grooves for mounting the treads and risers into the side panels.
These methods often impair the design of wooden stairs because they require the use of various mounting hardware, and they also have the problem of being structurally complex and cannot be applied to box-shaped stairs.

As a result of intensive research into the above-mentioned problem, the present inventor has created a structure in which the tread and riser are held between a lower side plate having a step-like step on the upper side and an upper side plate having a step-like step on the lower side. In addition, if the front end of the treadle board is held in a groove formed in the upper side board, and the bottom surface is securely supported by the upper end of the riser board, it will be possible to securely support the treadboard on-site for prefabricated houses with a constant floor height. The present invention was completed after discovering that a set of box-shaped wooden stairs that did not require the laborious groove carving work could be provided industrially at low cost.

In the drawings, reference numeral 1 indicates a tread plate having a groove 1a for fitting a riser board in the width direction of the lower surface of the front end as shown in FIG. It is a riser board. Reference numeral 3 denotes a lower side plate having a step-like cut portion 3a formed on the upper side for fixing the tread plate 1 and riser plate 2; 4 indicates a lower side plate having a groove for fitting the front end of the tread plate 1 on the lower side for fixing the tread plate 1; and riser board 2
This is an upper side plate on which a stepped cut portion 4a for fixing is formed. This upper side plate 4 is not only a non-load supporting member that only presses down the tread plate 1 and the riser plate 2 from above, but also has a groove 1a for fitting the riser plate provided in the width direction of the lower surface of the front end of the tread plate 1. Fixing of a tread plate 1 whose front end lower surface is securely supported by a riser plate 2 whose upper end is fitted over the entire length in the width direction, and which has grooves for fitting the front end of the tread plate 1 in an upper side plate 4 at both front ends thereof. Since it is securely held by the step-like cut portion 4a, there is no need to consider the bending of the tread 1, so it is made of a wood material that is about 1/2 the size of the lower side board 3. In addition, if there is a member made of plywood or laminated wood among the above four types of members, the part that will become the surface of the stairs after assembly is made of decorative material such as wood veneer or synthetic resin film. Pre-coating is desirable.

Next, the method of assembling and installing the box-shaped wooden staircase set made of the above-mentioned members will be described. First, the joint surface between the lower surface of the lower side plate 3 and the first floor floor is determined, and the lower end of the lower side plate 3 is cut. Next, a notch is formed in the upper part of the lower side plate 3 for contacting the second floor floor surface. Then, by using the stepped cut portion 3a provided on the upper side of the lower side plate 3, the upper end of the entire length of the riser board 2 in the width direction is inserted into the groove 1a for fitting the riser board provided in the width direction on the lower surface of the front end. Treadboard 1 with fitted riser board 2
is fixed to the lower side plate 3, and then the front end of the tread plate 1 is fitted into the groove for fitting the front end provided in the step-shaped cut portion 4a on the lower side of the step-shaped cut portion 4a of the upper side plate 4, which is cut to a predetermined size according to the lower side plate 3. The assembly and installation of the box-shaped wooden staircase is completed by fitting and fixing the front end of the tread board 1 and fixing the tread board 1 and the riser board 2 so that they are sandwiched between the upper and lower side plates 3 and 4.

The box-shaped wooden staircase set according to the present invention as described in detail above has a simple structure consisting of four members: treads, risers, upper side plates, and lower side plates, so it can be used in large quantities for houses with equal floor heights such as prefabricated houses. When building in a factory, mass production can be done in a factory, which can significantly reduce costs, and as the structure eliminates the need for the laborious on-site grooving work as mentioned above, it saves on-site labor and time. Further, the tread is not only supported by the lower side plate, but also supported by the riser for its entire width in the width direction, and both front ends are securely supported and held by the upper side plate. Because of its structure, it has a greater load-bearing capacity compared to a grooved fixation at the end where there is no riser, and it is highly safe as there is no need to consider bending of the tread, and the thickness of the upper side plate Since the thickness is approximately 1/2 of the thickness of the lower side plate, it not only helps conserve resources but also can be inexpensive. It is.
