  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 シリンダの外周面の１周未満の所定角度範囲に
    磁気テープを巻き付けて走行させ、回転磁気ヘツ
    ドで斜め走査し、信号の記録又は再生を行う回転
    ヘツド型磁気テープ装置において、 前記シリンダの前記磁気テープが巻き付けられ
    ない外周面角度範囲で前記回転磁気ヘツドに接触
    し、この回転磁気ヘツドを清掃する清掃用テープ
    と、 この清掃用テープにおける前記回転磁気ヘツド
    の接触位置を変えるために前記清掃用テープを移
    動する手段と を設けたことを特徴とする回転ヘツド型磁気テー
    プ装置。
