Some conventional small vehicles have a structure in which the fuel tank is located below the rear seat, and the spare tire is located below the luggage compartment behind the rear seat.
In this case, the spare tire is generally located above the fuel tank, and as a result, the floor member on which the spare tire is attached is also located at a higher position than the tire contact surface, reducing the volume of the luggage compartment. In order to increase the volume of the cargo space, attempts have been made to lower the mounting position of the spare tire and place it at the same height as the fuel tank, but in this case, in the event of a rear collision, the spare tire would be attached to the fuel tank. There are problems such as crushing and damaging the engine, causing fuel leakage and causing fire, and to counter this problem, reinforcement such as lengthening the rear overhang is required, which not only increases cost but also weight. There were other drawbacks. Incidentally, a structure in which a spare tire and a fuel tank are arranged in parallel in the left-right direction is known from Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 55-70371, but this structure has the disadvantage that the trunk space becomes narrow.

The present invention has been made in view of this point, and solves the above drawbacks by arranging the spare tire and the fuel tank together below the rear seat and in parallel in the left-right direction, thereby effectively utilizing the dead space below the rear seat. This is how it was done.

To this end, the present invention provides a rear seat that is attached to a floor member located in front of a rear luggage compartment of a vehicle body, and a lower part that is spaced apart from the lower surface of the rear seat on the floor member below the rear seat, and a lower part that is spaced apart from the lower surface of the rear seat. A high part that protrudes further upwards and on which a rear seat is placed is formed in parallel in the left-right direction, a spare tire is disposed between the low part and the rear seat, and a fuel tank is attached below the high part.

A rear seat 2 is attached to a floor member 6 located at the front of the rear luggage compartment of the vehicle body. A flat lower part 7 extending from the rear luggage compartment 26 to the rear luggage compartment 26 is formed flush with the floor member 6 of the rear luggage compartment 26, and a rear seat 2 is formed to protrude upward from the lower part 7 on one side of the lower position of the rear seat. The high parts 8 on which are placed are formed in parallel in the left-right direction. A house portion 23 for storing a spare tire 3 (to be described later) is formed between the low portion 7 and the rear seat 2. The high portion 8 consists of a flat top wall 11 and a side wall 12, and a fuel tank is provided below the house portion 23. A storage section 9 is formed. A portion of the side wall 12 near the right side end 10a of the vehicle body is formed as an inclined wall 13 that slopes gently toward the rear.

15 is a cover member having a substantially L-shaped cross section;
A flange portion 18 for attachment is provided protruding forward from the lower end of the front plate 17, and is fixed to the floor member 6 by the flange portion 18. A reinforcing member 20 is fixed to the back surface of the upper plate 16 near the open end, and together with the upper plate 11 forms a closed cross-sectional reinforcing portion extending in the lateral direction of the vehicle body. The right end portions of the cover member 15 and the reinforcing member 20 are both fixed to the high portion 8, and the left end portion of the reinforcing member 20 and the cover member 1
Both the left side of 5 is the left side end 10b of the floor member 6.
A house section 23 that houses the spare tire 3 is fixed to a side plate 22 erected from the side wall 12 of the high section 8, the upper plate 16 and front plate 17 of the cover member 15, the side plate 22, and the lower section 7. form. This house part 23 is opened toward a luggage compartment at the rear of the vehicle, and the spare tire 3 is stored and fixed in the house part 23 from there. The rear seat 2 is fixed on the upper wall 11 of the high part 8 and the upper plate 16 of the cover member 15, and the fuel tank 5 is fixed in the storage part 9 below the high part formed in the horizontal direction of the house part 23. .
The reinforcing member 20 improves the strength of the attachment portion of the rear seat 2, and is used to fix the base end of a seat belt (not shown) to the reinforcing member 20.

In addition, 25a and 25b are side frames fixed to the bottom surface of the floor member 6 in the above-mentioned direction in order to reinforce the floor member 6, and both form a closed cross section with the floor member 6. One side frame 25
a extends from the rear end 10c of the floor member 6 to the front end of the upper wall 11 via the inclined wall 13 of the high portion 8. Further, 27 is a tire, 28 is a ground contact surface of the tire 27, and 29 is a back door.

As described above, according to the present invention, the height of the floor member of the luggage compartment behind the rear seat is lower than that of the conventional floor member, and therefore the volume of the luggage compartment is increased. Furthermore, since the fuel tank and spare tire are arranged side by side in the left and right direction of the vehicle, there is a reduced possibility that the spare tire will crush the fuel tank in the event of a rear collision, thereby improving safety.
