Claims (1)
て閉じた現像室を形成する現像器に外部より液体
トナーを導入し、現像室で液体トナーを付加する
事により、記録媒体の静電潜像を現像した後、外
部へ液体トナーを排出し、現像器の外側に液体ト
ナーを含んだ貯蔵容器を設け、現像器と貯蔵容器
との間に循環ポンプを接続し、循環ポンプは現像
室より液体トナーを引出して貯蔵容器へ戻すよう
構成された液体現像装置において、現像器の液体
トナー導入口と貯蔵容器の間に液体トナーの流入
を阻止する手段と現像器内を大気圧以下に保ちつ
つ大気を導入する手段を設け、現像時には大気導
入手段を閉じておき、現像終了時に現像液導入を
止め、大気導入手段を作用させつつ液体トナー循
環のためのポンプを作動させることを特徴とする
