Sewage, wastewater, and other sewage is stored in an aeration tank, and the sewage that adheres or adsorbs to the activated sludge is oxidized and becomes active as a nutrient source by the air injected from the aeration device installed at the bottom of the aeration tank. A purification process is carried out in which it is absorbed into sludge. A conventional air diffuser installed in an aeration tank sends high-pressure air into a cylindrical air diffuser formed of a sintered body such as porcelain or polyolefin resin. Many of them had a structure that diffused air through countless small holes. However, if such conventional devices are left in waste water for a long time after discontinuing the aeration operation, activated sludge and other substances will enter the small holes in the aeration section, harden, and cause clogging, reducing the aeration efficiency. It has the disadvantage that it decreases.

The present invention is a new invention that improves the conventional drawbacks as described above, and its purpose is to prevent clogging of the air diffuser even if left in waste water for a long time, and to prevent the air diffuser efficiency from decreasing over a long period of time. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an air diffuser that prevents air pollution from occurring.

As shown in FIG. 2, the main body A has a cylindrical water chamber 1 formed in the center, an air chamber 2 formed around its outer periphery, and these two chambers are separated by a partition wall 3. A rectifying guide 4 opened in an inverted eight shape is formed at the upper end of the partition wall 3, and a check valve 5 made of a hard rubber plate is attached to the tip of the rectifying guide 4. In addition, 6 is a water inlet attached to the bottom of main body A, and 7 is an air inlet also attached to the side, and these are water chamber 1 and air chamber 2, respectively.

The rotating air diffuser B has a mortar-shaped rotating part 11 and an impeller 12. A pivot 13 is attached to the bottom surface of the rotating part 11, and is supported by a bearing part 14 provided in the water chamber 1. There is. Note that a flange 15 is provided at the lower edge of the impeller 12, and is loosely fitted to the peripheral wall of the main body A.

First, the aeration device according to the present invention is installed in an aeration tank, and the water inlet 6 is connected to a pipe leading to a water pump that pumps water that does not contain solids, such as treated water from the raw water system. , a pipe leading to the atmosphere is connected to the air inlet 7.

During operation, the water pump is operated to send water in the treated water tank into the water chamber 1. The water sent into the water chamber 1 uses its pressure to push up the rotating air diffuser B, and as shown in FIG. . The air in the air chamber 2 is strongly attracted by the force of the water flow from the slit formed between the outer wall of the main body and the rectifying guide 4, and is ejected from the gap in the rectifying guide 4. This operation causes the water and air to mix to some extent, and the air mixed with the water is ejected toward the impeller 12 together with the water.

As described above, when a mixture of water and air is strongly injected to the impeller 12, the pressure thereof generates a rotational force in the rotating air diffuser B, causing the rotating air diffuser B to rotate at a high speed. The mixture of water and air then collides with the impeller 12 and is dispersed into the water in the aeration tank. At this time, the air is divided into even smaller bubbles. For this reason, the area of contact with water increases, and oxygen in the air is more likely to be taken into the water.

When the water pump is stopped to stop the operation, the pressure inside the water chamber 1 decreases, and the rotary diffuser B falls downward under its own gravity and returns to the state shown in Fig. 2, and the backflow prevention valve 5 also closes its own The elastic force and the pressure of the rotating air diffuser B return to the state shown in FIG. 2, and the slit between the tip of the rectifying guide 4 and the outer wall of the main body is sealed. Therefore, in this state, solid matter such as activated sludge contained in the water does not enter the air chamber 2.

The air diffuser according to the present invention is normally used by disposing the rotating air diffuser part B in an aeration tank with the rotating air diffuser facing upward as shown in FIG. Sometimes used for. In such a case, a compression spring is inserted between the bearing portion 14 and the flange 13a provided at the tip of the pivot shaft 13.

As explained in detail above, the present invention has the advantage that when the air diffuser is not operating, the rotating air diffuser blocks the air chamber and the water chamber, so that solid matter such as activated sludge contained in the water enters the air chamber. There's nothing to do. Therefore, there is no inconvenience that occurs with conventional equipment, such as solid matter blocking the small holes during operation stoppage, solidifying and clogging, and even after the equipment is left in dirty water for a long period of time. It works immediately when air and water are introduced into the air and water chambers.

In addition, when the air comes into contact with the impeller and passes through it, it becomes very fine bubbles, resulting in better air diffusion efficiency and no clogging compared to conventional systems that eject air through small holes. Therefore, such aeration persists for a long period of time.
