即ち、上記消去ヘツド1のヘツド部2は、コイル
2aにフロントコア2b及びバツクコア2cを接
着固定すると共に、テープ摺動面3bに位置する
フロントコア2bの上、下部に、フエライト部又
はフエライト入り熱可塑性樹脂部2eを前者の場
合は、ガラスを接着剤2dとし、後者の場合は、
樹脂材を接着剤2dとして固着して一体的に構成
したものであり、このヘツド部2を本体3の嵌合
部3aに、テープ摺動面3b方向より挿入して接
着した後、テープ摺動面3bを円弧状に研磨加工
して消去ヘツド1を製造する方法を採つていた。

従つて、消去ヘツド1のヘツド部2においては
フロントコア、バツクコア、コイル、フエライト
部ないしフエライト入り熱可塑性樹脂部等の多数
の部品を必要とし、しかもフエライト部ないしフ
エライト入り熱可塑性樹脂部の接着工程を要する
点、またヘツド部2を本体3に接着する工程も要
する等の理由から量産化に不向きであり、しかも
各部品の製造から上記接着工程を含む組み立て工
程に到る作業工程が多いことから最終の消去ヘツ
ド製品のバラツキが多く、故に機能的には消去ヘ
ツドを記録再生装置に装着して使用するとき、テ
ープの記録、再生トラツクに対する消去ヘツドの
位置決め誤差(アジマスロス)が出る等により、
消去効率が低下し、S/N比が数デシベル以下に
も達する悪化を来たし叉、製造面では歩留りも悪
くなると言う不都合があつた。また、一体化した
ヘツド部2を挿入する本体3の嵌合部3aを加工
するとき、研削液が内部に残留し、絶縁不良を引
き起こし易い欠点も有つた。

う不利があつた。依つて、本発明は上述した問題
点や欠点、不利を解決、解消し得るように部品点
数の削減と共に製造工程の削減と本体に対してヘ
ツド部を高精度に位置決めすることも可能なV.
T.R、或いはカセツトデツキの消去ヘツドの製造
方法を提供せんとするものである。

ヘツドを製造する方法において、前記本体部に前
記ヘツド部を収納する嵌合凹部を形成すると共に
該嵌合凹部に前記ヘツドのフロントコアを位置決
めする案内溝を予め形成し、前記本体部内に位置
決め、収納された前記ヘツド部のテープ摺動面側
の周囲をモールド用の無機質フイラーを含有した
樹脂材で充填し、その後に研磨して円弧状のテー
プ摺動表面を形成するようにした消去ヘツドの製
造方法を提供し、ヘツド部の構成部品点数を削減
し、かつ接着工程を解消して製造工程の削減を果
たし、しかも、上記案内溝に依り、本体部に対す
るヘツド部の位置決め精度を一定、安定化させ得
るようにしたもので量産化に寄与し得るのであ
る。以下、本発明を添付図面に示す実施例に基づ
いて詳細に説明する。

得ることとなる。

価低減と組み立て作業工程の削減、簡単化を図る
ことができ、しかも本体内に一体成形で設けた案
内溝により、消去ヘツドの製造過程で、ヘツド部
のフロントコアを本体に常に正確かつ一定した位
置関係を維持して組み立て得るから、製品の量産
に当たつて、製品精度の安定化を図ることがで
き、つまり、量産化が可能となり、かつ正確な位
置関係の維持は、本体を記録再生装置に正しく装
着すれば、それに伴つてコアをテープに対して精
度良く位置出しできる結果となり、故にテープト
ラツクとフロントコアとが正確に位置決めされて
消去効率を高レベルに維持し得る効果が得られ
る。また、熱硬化性樹脂によりヘツド部を本体内
に固着する製造方法は、該樹脂とそれに混入され
たフイラーとの固形化により、テープ摺接時にフ
イラーが脱落してヘツドギヤツプに目詰まりを起
こすような危惧を解消する効果も奏する。
