These methods can only express a two-dimensional luster, and are too sparkly and lack elegance, and it is difficult to express elegant and complex iridescent colors, luster, and inlays. It was hot.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention takes the following measures. That is, the architectural coating material composition according to the present invention is characterized in that it contains a flat material having fine metallic pieces or metal powders of multiple colors dotted and adhered to the surface.

The flat material used in the present invention is mica,
Selected from synthetic resin film, metal flakes, etc. When using a flat material such as mica or a transparent synthetic resin film through which the underlying material can be seen, the underlying material may be colored or the flat material itself may be colored in advance. When two or more types of flat materials are used together, a more complex color tone can be expressed based on the difference in reflectance of the flat materials. Although the size of the flat material is not particularly specified, it is usually desirable to have a size of about 0.7 to 5 mm. This is because if it is too small, the iridescent brightness will be poor, while if it is too large, the workability of troweling will be poor.

Next, examples of the metallic pieces or metal powder to be attached to the surface of the flat material include so-called Mylar, which is a synthetic resin film subjected to metal vapor deposition, metal flakes such as aluminum foil, and metal powders such as aluminum powder and gold powder. These can be used as they are or colored in other colors. Metallic pieces or metal powder attached to the surface of a flat material exhibit multiple colors, but even if multiple colors appear on each flat material, each flat material may have a different single color, and the painted surface as a whole may have multiple colors. It may be made to exhibit. Further, the size of the metallic piece or metal powder is preferably 50 to 200 μm. This is because if it is too large or too small, it becomes impossible to express delicate iridescent brightness and hue.

Other ingredients of the architectural coating material composition according to the present invention include aggregates, binders, and the like. Examples of the aggregate include glass beads, silica sand, wood powder, slag, and the like. When painting with the architectural coating material composition according to the present invention containing such aggregates, each of the flat materials will exist at slightly different angles due to the presence of the aggregates. It is possible to form a finished surface with a more complex color tone. The ratio of aggregate to flat material is 5:1
It is desirable to set the ratio to about 15:1. This is because if the amount is too low, the iridescent brightness will be poor, while if it is too high, the workability will be poor. As a coloring material,
Examples include pearl pigments and Bengara. Furthermore, examples of the binder include acrylic resin emulsion, ethylene acetate resin emulsion, and the like.

[Function] [Effect] The architectural coating material composition according to the present invention may be mixed with water, then troweled onto the underlying surface and dried. Since the painted surface formed using the architectural coating material composition according to the present invention is dotted with metallic pieces or metal powder of multiple colors attached to the surface of the flat material, the reflected light depends on the position of the eye. As a result, a finished surface with an extremely beautiful iridescent shine can be obtained.
