When an elevator car stops landing on a floor, the hoisting machine is normally controlled so that the car decelerates along a predetermined deceleration curve. Also, in the case of a high-speed elevator, when the car moves up and down the end of the hoistway,
A predetermined deceleration curve is compared with the actual speed of the car, and if the speed of the car is higher than the predetermined value, the hoisting machine is braked, or when the car passes a predetermined point at the end of the car. If the speed of the hoist is higher than a predetermined speed, the hoist is braked via the speed governor. In this manner, when the car abnormally moves up and down at the end of the hoistway, the car is decelerated to prevent accidents at the end of the hoistway. However, when decelerating a car that is abnormally ascending or descending, a larger deceleration is applied than the deceleration that is applied when the car normally stops landing on the floor. On the other hand, trunk type elevators are driven by the frictional force between the split sheave and the main rope. For this reason, if the hoisting machine or drive sheave is braked to correct abnormal lifting, slipping may occur in the main rope, especially when the car is descending and the maximum load is acting on it. It will be done. Therefore, the required deceleration operation cannot be obtained, and an accident may occur at the end of the hoistway.

In order to increase the frictional transmission force between the drive sheave and the main rope, it is conceivable to increase the wrap angle of the main rope, but this is impractical due to many constraints on the elevator arrangement. It is also possible to change the shape of the main cable groove of the drive sheave, but this increases the surface pressure of the groove, causing rapid wear and shortening the life of the elevator. Furthermore, it has been considered to press the main rope against the groove using a separately provided roller or the like, but this also involves an increase in surface pressure and has the disadvantage of shortening the life of the elevator. Another possibility is to scatter particles such as sand on the outer circumference of the sheave and the main rope, but this will cause severe wear on the sheave and main rope, significantly shortening their lifespan, and will require post-accident treatment (sand removal). There are drawbacks such as the need to do so.

Now, assuming that the elevator is ascending and descending normally, that is, no abnormal elevation has occurred, the contact point 12 of the first detection device is open, and the second detection device 14 also does not emit an output, so the operating device 11 doesn't work. Therefore, the applicator 10 does not operate. Then, when the car 7 rises and falls abnormally and the first detection device operates, the contact 12 is closed (+)-12-
The auxiliary relay 13 is energized by the circuit 13-(-), and the contact 13a is closed. and (+)−1
The actuating device 11 is energized by the circuit 3a-11-(-). As a result, the coating device 10 is pressed and operated, and the friction increasing agent is coated on the driving sheave 2 and the main rope 6.

This increases the driving force of the hoist 1, prevents the main rope 6 from slipping during abnormal lifting, and provides the required deceleration operation. Accidents caused by insufficient deceleration during abnormal ascent and descent can be prevented without reducing the lifespan of the main rope 6 and the like. Then, when a predetermined time period elapses after the auxiliary relay 13 is energized, the contact 13a is opened and the operation of the atomizer 10 is stopped. In addition, abnormal lifting and lowering occurred in car 7 and the second

The actuating device 11 is energized by the circuit 1-(-) to inject the friction increasing agent, and the injection is stopped when the abnormal elevation of the car 7 is resolved. Then, the same effect as when the first detection device operates is achieved.

As explained above, the present invention provides a coating device disposed opposite at least one of the drive sheave drive surface of a trunkion elevator and the main rope near the drive surface, so that the coating device can be used when abnormal elevation occurs in the elevator. The coating device is actuated through the operation of a detection device that detects the amount of friction, and coats at least one of the drive sheave and the main rope with rope grease that functions as a friction-increasing force agent. This makes it possible to increase the driving force of the hoisting machine when abnormal lifting occurs, and unlike spreading sand, etc., it reduces the lifespan due to wear of the hoisting machine such as the main rope and eliminates the need for post-treatment. It is possible to prevent the main rope from slipping without causing any problems, and it is possible to economically prevent accidents caused by insufficient deceleration during abnormal ascent and descent.
