Claims (1)
- ロータの頂部側面に設けたコーナシール溝に、
軸方向に貫通する貫通孔および該貫通孔に連通し
アペツクスシールが挿通される割溝を有するコー
ナシールをスプリングによりサイドハウジング側
に付勢せしめて装着し、該コーナシールの貫通孔
に、アペツクスシールの底部が嵌挿されるアペツ
クスシール挿入溝を有する軟質材よりなるコーナ
シールプラグを装着してなるロータリピストンエ
ンジンのコーナシール装置において、上記コーナ
シールプラグにおけるサイドハウジングと反対側
面に、上記アペツクスシール挿入溝の底部から両
側方にかけて刳り貫かれて該アペツクスシール挿
入溝に連通する凹部が設けられ、該凹部のアペツ
クスシール挿入溝への開口端部が凹部内方へ延び
るリツプ形状に形成されていることを特徴とする
ロータリピストンエンジンのコーナシール装置。
