【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は石油燃焼器の通常消火時の臭気の低減
に関するものである。従来灯芯降下の消火方式に
ついては震動消火装置を利用して瞬間的に消火さ
せる方式と芯上下調節ツマミを回転させて消火さ
せる方式とがある。前記の方が消火が簡単で、便
利であるが、早く消火させる(10秒以内)為臭気
が強い。これは芯収容部の温度が高い為、降下し
た灯芯から灯油が気化し、これがまだ熱い燃焼筒
内で分解して、アセトアルデヒド等の臭気の元と
なる。本発明は消火釦による通常消火時の灯芯降
下ストロークを、震動感知時である緊急消火時の
灯芯降下ストロークよりも短くして、通常消火時
の消火臭気を大幅に低減するものである。以下本
発明の一実施例を第1図、第2図を用いて説明す
る。1は円筒状の灯芯である。また内外部で芯収
容部を形成する芯案内筒2、芯外筒3のうち、芯
案内筒2は下タンク4に、芯外筒3はタンクパツ
キン5を介して上タンク6に固定している。上タ
ンク6、下タンク4は溶接して一体とする。灯芯
1の内側には円筒状の芯固定金具7が糊付け及び
ツメで固定され、この金具7に灯芯1を貫通し
て、ラツク部を設けた芯上下金具8が溶接されて
いる。これに当接するようにピニオン部をもつた
調節軸9が上タンク6の正面部に固定されてい
る。また調節軸9の途中には、周囲にツメ加工し
一部分のみツメを高くした消火歯車10が挿入固
定されている。さらに調節軸9の先端にはツマミ

り、火皿部eに近い為、芯外筒3、芯案内筒2の
温度も高い為(約100℃)、灯芯1から気化も長び
き、消火時間が長くなる(90〜200秒)。消火時の
