本発明は上述の点に鑑み、例えばカード電卓等の電子カ
ードの処理において種々の機能を付加するように構成し
たものである。第1図は本発明の処理装置に用いる一実
施例に係る時計、アラーム付電子カードCDの斜視図で
、LCは液晶表示器、KBはキーボード、ALはアラー
ムであり、キャッシュカード、クレジットカードとほぼ
同じ厚さ及び可撓性を有する。第2図はその裏面にして
、キャッシュカード、クレジットカードと同様にその所
有者を特定化する暗号部Mが磁気インクその他の周知技
術で設けられ、る。このM部を第3図の如き読み取り装
置R(処理装置)のヘッド部RHで解読し、また同時に
キーボードKBから端子CI、C2,H1,H2等を介
1ノで読み取り装置Rに所有者自身しか知らない情報を
与える。これにより電子カードの所有者を特定化でき、
不正使用を防止できる。読み取り装置Rが正しく設定す
ると、キャッジ1カードであるときは現金が支払われる
。このとき支払い金額をキーボードKBから入力させる
こともできる。またクレジットカードであるときはその
とき必要とした代金をキーボードKBから入力させて電
子カードCD内の現在預金額記憶メモリーから差し引い
