凍することが出来る。このため、一般的にはどち
らか一方の電極を上下に移動可能にし、被解凍物
の厚さに合わせて、電極を移動出来る様にしてい
る。それゆえ、解凍運転を行なうための準備動作
としては、扉を開け被解凍物を出し入れする動作
と、電極の高さを被解凍物の大きさに合わせる調
整動作とが必要であつた。またこの調整動作を行
なう方法としては、装置外部よりレバーで連動さ
せて可能させたり、モータ等の駆動源で可動させ
る方法等があり、それらの機構は複雑でコスト的
にも高価なものであつた。
