DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a novel rod-edge ceiling board using a laminated wood flat board as a base material. Specifically, the present invention relates to a new rod-edge ceiling board made of a laminated wood flat board. The base material is a laminated wood flat plate that has been cut so that at least one edge of the edge is cut on one side so as to leave a slight rise on the end surface of the wood, and sheet-like materials are attached to both the front and back sides of the board. Regarding the rod-edge ceiling board.

The pole-edge ceiling is a ceiling structure unique to Japan, and its elegant and antique style enhances the elegance of Japanese-style rooms. Pole-edge ceiling panels were originally manufactured by processing grained or straight-grained flat boards of cedar, cypress, etc.
The cedar and cypress wood used for this purpose must be harvested from large-diameter trees, but these days they are rare and difficult to obtain, and even if they are, they are too expensive for ordinary building owners to afford. The product had become undeliverable.

Under these circumstances, products in which thin veneer with grain or straight grain of cedar is glued to lauan plywood and locusts attached have become the mainstream for ceiling boards for pole edges, but 2-3 m/m thick base plate plywood has become the mainstream. Since the thin veneer was still attached to the roof, it lacked a high-quality feel, was prone to warping and deformation, and had the disadvantage that it was easily ignited and burst into flames in the event of a fire.

In addition, even if we tried to form the ceiling surface of the pole edge using natural solid wood, skilled carpenters who could complete the formation of the common name, pine needles, and loops on the edge became rare, and we were forced to use cheap stretch plywood. It had a tendency to flow.

In view of this situation, the present inventor has completed the present invention after intensive research.
While retaining the solid feel of natural solid wood, it has excellent construction aptitude that even semi-skilled carpenters can perform extremely easily, and natural solid wood has physical properties such as cracking and warping over time. This led to the proposal of a pole-edge ceiling board that has excellent performance that surpasses that of conventional steel, and is difficult to ignite or catch fire even in the event of a fire.

To explain the rod-edge ceiling board of the present invention with reference to the drawings, FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing one embodiment of the rod-edge ceiling board of the present invention, in which 1 is a laminated wood flat plate used as a base material, 2, 3 The wood end faces are straight-grained blocks at both ends, and 4 and 5 are sheet-like materials attached to both the front and back sides. FIG. 2 is a partially cutaway sectional view taken along the line X-Y in FIG. 1. In FIG. 2, the wood end surfaces a and b of both end blocks 2 and 3 are assembled to form a straight grain surface, so the upper and lower surfaces adjacent thereto form a board surface. This point is one of the important points in the present invention, and since it has a grained surface, it has high bending resistance, so the edges will not be damaged during transportation or during construction.

In the present invention, a laminated wood flat plate is used as a base material, in which the periphery of at least one of both ends in the longitudinal direction is cut so as to leave a slight rising part on the end surface of the wood. Therefore, the cutting process may be carried out so that both ends face each other, as shown in Figs. It may be processed. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, one end may be cut so as to become gradually thinner toward the end, and the other end may be cut stepwise. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5, only one end portion may be cut. 3 to 5 show cutting modes other than those shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. Although there are other cutting combinations based on the spirit of the present invention, the illustrations are not shown. Omitted.

The thickness of the laminated wood flat plate used in the present invention is approximately 20 m/m or less, considering its use as a ceiling board.
A thickness of 4 m/m or more is preferred, with the optimum range being approximately 5 m/m to 10 m/m thick. It is preferable that the blocks at both ends in the longitudinal direction are assembled into a single block so that the end surfaces of the wood form a straight-grained surface, but the blocks at both ends in the longitudinal direction may be formed by joining short and long blocks using finger joints. However, in this case, in order to unify the slight difference in color tone between the short and long blocks, it is necessary to apply a color clear paint or the like to the end surface of the wood in advance to eliminate the color difference.

Sheet-like materials to be attached to both the front and back sides include cedar,
A thin veneer made by slicing natural wood such as Japanese cypress is particularly preferred, but a decorative sheet made of paper, film, etc. printed to resemble natural wood may also be used. Alternatively, a natural wood veneer or a decorative sheet may be attached to only the front side, and plain paper, film, etc. may be attached to the back side as a balance sheet to prevent warping. If the decorative sheet is thin and there is a risk that the wood grain of the laminated wood slab can be seen through, add a coloring agent to the adhesive.
The colored paper may be pasted under the decorative sheet according to known techniques.

FIGS. 6 and 7 are cross-sectional views showing the construction form of the ceiling panel of the present invention. In this case, sheets are attached to both the front and back of the base material, which has been cut in advance so that both ends of the laminated wood flat board are thinner. Since the pine needles are attached, there is no need to make pine needles or to form loops during construction, and all you have to do is stack the pine needles one after another and secure them with locusts or nails, so less skilled carpenters can do the work. Even if it is, the rod edge ceiling can be easily formed in a short time. In addition, since the laminated wood flat plate prepared as described in the claims is used, the edges are highly flexible and strong, making it easy to stack the sheets during construction and prevent breakage. The end surface of the wood leaves a slight rising edge, creating a thick walled ceiling that looks as if it were made of natural solid wood.

Example thickness: 40m/m, width: 400m/m, length: 1800m/m
To manufacture the laminated cedar board, we assembled solid cedar blocks as longitudinal end blocks so that the wood end faces were straight-grained, and then sliced them to form a base material with a thickness of 5.5 m/m. I created a laminated wood slab. Next, from a position 70 m/m from both ends, cutting is performed to gradually thin the wood toward the end surface of the wood so that the front and back sides face each other (see Figures 1 and 2).
Adjustments were made so that a rising portion of 3 m/m remained on the end surface of the wood, and a cedar grain veneer with a thickness of 120 microns was adhered to both the front and back surfaces using a vinyl acetate adhesive. The ceiling board thus obtained can be perceived as a laminated wood base material only at the end surface with a thickness of 5.5 m/m, and at first glance it has the same texture as natural solid wood, and the edges are strong and flexible. When constructing this for a 6-tatami room, we were able to form a pole-edge ceiling extremely easily and in a short time by using L-shaped wooden locusts and instant woodworking adhesive.
