[Detailed description of the invention] This invention uses a submersible pump to intermittently collect a highly corrosive sample liquid, such as seawater, while
The present invention relates to a sampling device in which the submersible pump is backwashed with fresh water and/or air during standby. Backwashing here refers to flowing clean water and/or air toward the submersible pump in the opposite direction to the direction in which the sample liquid was introduced at the time of collection, and cleaning the submersible pump with the clean water and/or air. .
Such backwashing is necessary to prevent the impeller, rotating shaft, etc. of the submersible pump from being corroded by highly corrosive liquids such as seawater. However, such backwashing is not performed continuously while the sampling device is on standby, but is generally performed temporarily in order to save on fresh water and power costs.

By the way, the submersible pump in this type of sampling device has a casing 1 as shown in Figure 1.
A submersible pump main body 3 is provided in a closed chamber separated by a partition plate 2 inside, and the rotating shaft 4 of the pump main body is made to penetrate the partition plate 2 and protrude near the bottom of the casing 1, and an impeller 5 is attached to the tip of the rotating shaft 4 of the pump main body. On the other hand, the casing bottom 6 is opened, and a through hole 7 is formed in the side wall near the bottom, and the bottom opening 6 and the through hole 7 are configured to serve as a liquid sampling port. It is difficult to sufficiently prevent corrosion of impellers, etc. with temporary backwashing. In other words, since the submersible pump has a configuration in which the impeller faces the liquid sampling port, in temporary backwashing, after the backwashing is stopped, the impeller and rotating shaft are exposed to these liquids due to the flow and diffusion of seawater and other liquids. This is because they will come into contact with you again. In the figure, 8 is a liquid sample pipe, 9 is a liquid sample adjustment tank, 10 is a fresh water tank, 11 is a fresh water pump, 12 is a fresh water supply pipe, 13 is an air compressor, and 14 is an air supply pipe.

In view of the above drawbacks, the present invention provides a new means that can reliably prevent corrosion of the impeller and rotating shaft during standby by only temporary backwashing without increasing power costs or wasting fresh water. It is something.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. Figure 2 shows an embodiment of the present invention.
Two submersible pumps A and B are provided, and valves V 1 and V' 1 are provided in the respective liquid sample pipes 8a and 8b.
Accordingly, when one is in an operating state (sample collection state), the other is in a standby state. 12a is a fresh water supply pipe for supplying fresh water to submersible pump A, 12b is a fresh water supply pipe for supplying fresh water to submersible pump B, and 14a is an air supply pipe for supplying air to submersible pump A, 14b is an air supply pipe that supplies air to pump B. The valves V2 to V5 provided in each of these pipes 12a, 12b, 14a, and 14b are synchronized with the valves V1 and V'1 , and are used to send fresh water and/or air to the submersible pump on standby. is configured to provide In addition, each valve V 2 to V 5 does not remain open continuously while the submersible pump connected to it is on standby, but is controlled to remain open only for an appropriate amount of time by an appropriate timer, etc. not shown. The submersible pump, which is on standby, is temporarily backwashed.

Therefore, according to this configuration, when backwashing is performed by temporarily supplying fresh water and/or air to the submersible pump A or B that is on standby, the cover bodies 15 and 16 are
The liquid such as seawater inside the submersible pump is replaced by fresh water and/or air by backwashing, and the fresh water and/or air is stored in the cover bodies 15 and 16 until the submersible pump starts operating. , cover body 1
5 and 16 are formed in a hollow shape with the inner center bulging outward, so a large amount of fresh water and/or air can be stored inside, and the fluid introduction opening at the lower end Since the ports 17 and 18 are narrow, the fresh water and/or air can flow through the cover body 1.
5, 16 is difficult to escape to the outside, therefore, by only temporary backwashing, the impeller 5 and rotating shaft 4 will not come into contact with liquid such as seawater again during standby, and corrosion of the impeller etc. can be effectively prevented. obtain. If the standby time is quite long, backwashing can be performed temporarily several times at appropriate intervals. In addition, when waiting for a long time, first pump fresh water into the submersible pump, then
Subsequently, air may be sent in to replace the inside of the cover body with air. In FIG. 2, the same components as those explained in FIG. 1 are designated by the same numbers and their explanations will be omitted.

Next, FIGS. 3 and 4 respectively show other embodiments of the present invention, and the one in FIG. 3 has the liquid inlet 17 (or 18) of the cover body 15 (or 16) extended downward. In the example shown in Fig. 4, the cover body 15
An example is shown in which the liquid introduction port 17 (or 18) of (or 16) is oriented laterally. The cover bodies 15, 16 having the structure shown in FIG. 3 are suitable for a sampling device having a long standby time. Cover body 15, 1 configured as shown in FIG.
6 is suitable when the liquid is flowing in the direction of arrow P.

As explained above, in the sampling device using the submersible pump according to the present invention, a hollow cover body whose inner center bulges outward and has a narrow liquid inlet at the lower end is used to collect liquid from the submersible pump. It is installed so as to cover the mouth, and is configured so that fresh water and/or air from backwashing can be stored in the cover body during standby, so only temporary backwashing is required, and the impeller and rotating Since the shaft is in contact with fresh water and/or air and is prevented from coming into contact with highly corrosive sample liquid, corrosion of the impeller, etc. can be reliably prevented. In particular, in the present invention, the hollow cover body that covers the liquid sampling port of the submersible pump is formed so that its inner center bulges outward, and is provided with a narrow liquid inlet at the lower end. Therefore, a large amount of fresh water and/or air due to backwashing can be stored in the cover body for a long time, and the above-mentioned contact can be more reliably prevented.
Therefore, according to the sampling device of the present invention, it is possible to perform a stable sampling function over a long period of time. Furthermore, since the above-mentioned corrosion prevention effect can be achieved by only temporary backwashing, there is also the advantage that fresh water and power costs for pumps and the like can be saved.
In addition, it has the advantage that it can be easily applied to existing submersible pumps since it is only necessary to attach a cover body.
