Abstract

PURPOSE:To make shift with a single mold to be employed and consequently decrease the space and cost for molding by a method wherein both the preforming of a sound- absorbing material and the forming of the preformed sound-absorbing material and a coating material are done by using one and the same mold. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a sound-absorbing material 1, one surface of which consists of a layer 1a coated and impregnated with molding agent such as thermosetting resin solution and the remaining portion of which consists of a semi-porous layer 1b, is set between the tops and bottom forces 2 and 3 and preformed. Secondly, the forces 2 and 3 are opened and a sheet-shaped coating material is seated onto the top surface of the sound absorbing material 1 which is left in the forces as is preformed. Thirdly, when the forces 2 and 3 are closed again, the semi-porous layer 1b of the sound absorbing material 1 is formed in the state of being compressed by the portion corresponding to the thickness of the coating material 4 or sprayed material 5. Finally, the sound absorbing material 1 is taken out of the forces 2 and 3 in order to obtain a molded multilayer sound-absorbing material 9 consisting of the semi-porous layer 1b, a cured layer 7 produced by curing the molding agent, and the coating layer 8.

On the other hand, conventionally, the surface of molded bodies made of materials other than molded sound absorbing materials, such as plastic, has been colored or scratch-proofed.
- Coating layers are formed for the following purposes. As a means of forming this coating layer, in addition to applying a liquid coating material to the surface of the molded object or pasting a sheet-like coating material, there are also methods for applying or placing a coating material on the surface of the molded object. (Problems to be solved by Hatsu 1) When forming a coating layer on the surface of the above-mentioned molded body using a mold, there are two types of molded body: one before forming the coating layer and one after forming the coating layer. Since the thickness differs by the thickness of the coating layer, the mold for molding the compact and the coating mold for forming the coating layer cannot be used in common, and two types of molds must be prepared.

The present invention was developed by focusing on this point, and its outline is to preform a sound absorbing material using a mold, then open the mold and apply a coating material to the surface of the preformed sound absorbing material. After this, the same molds were again fitted together, and during this fitting, the thickness of the semi-porous layer of the sound absorbing material was compressed by the thickness of the coating material.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, according to the present invention, when molding a molded sound absorbing material having a coating layer on the surface, the same mold is used to preform the sound absorbing material and to form the preformed sound absorbing material. Since we decided to mold the sound absorbing material and the coating material,
Only one type of mold is required, which is extremely advantageous in terms of space and cost.
