Abstract

PURPOSE:To thin the thickness of ventilator and facilitate maintenance and inspection of the same by a method wherein a plurality of heat exchangers is arranged widthwise in parallel so as to be tangential with lengthwise crest line and the suction ports of indoor air are provided at both sides of a front panel while the front panel is attached detachably. CONSTITUTION:An atmosphere suction chamber 7a is formed between the front panel 17 and a partitioning plate 20a while indoor air suction chambers 12a, 12b are formed between the front panel 17 by the crest lines on the diagonal lines of first and second heat exchangers 4a, 4b, connected to the partitioning plate 20a, and the partitioning plates 20b 20c, connecting the side plates 1a, 1b of an outer box 1. The first and second heat exchangers 4a, 4b are arranged widthwise so as to be tangential with the lengthwise crest lines, therefore, the size of depths of the heat exchangers 4a, 4b is reduced and it is not necessary to provide the indoor air suction chambers 12a, 12b at the side of heat exchangers 4a, 4b, whereby the ventilator may be thinned. On the other hand, filters 13a, 13b, provided at the suction side of heat exchangers 4a, 4b, are arranged so as to be tangential with the front panel 17, therefore, the filters 13a, 13b may be maintained and inspected easily by removing the front panel.

Figures 10 to 14 show conventional examples of this type of device as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 59-38669.
As shown in Figure 0, there is an outer box (11), an intake blower (2) and an exhaust blower (3) placed side by side on the inner bottom of the outer box (1), and an air blower located above each of these blowers. As shown in FIG.
An outside air outlet (5) is formed at the top of the outer box (11) to bring fresh outside air into the room. The outside air is supplied to the outside air suction chamber (7) formed on the left side of the outer box (1) shown in the figure, and dust is removed by the outside air filter (8) attached to the intake port of the heat exchanger (4). While passing through the heat exchanger (4), it exchanges heat with the exhaust air B from the room, enters the outside air supply chamber (9) formed on the right side of the outer box (1), and enters the outer box ( 1) Pass through the outlet α of the air duct at the top.

After removing dust with the indoor air filter 0 attached to the intake port of the heat exchanger (4) and exchanging heat with fresh outside air in the heat exchanger (4), the outer box (1 ) enters the exhaust chamber α on the outside of the room, passes through the lower exhaust blower chamber α, and is discharged outdoors from the exhaust port (I [9) by the exhaust fan (3).Also, αη is the indoor air filter u3. and heat exchanger (
4) The front panel is removably installed on the front of the outer box (11) for maintenance and inspection, and the lJ8 shown in Figures 13 and 14 is used for attaching and detaching the outside air filter (8) and for the suction of the heat exchanger. This opening/closing door is provided for side cleaning, and when it is closed, the indoor air suction chamber 03 and the outside air suction chamber (7) are isolated.

As explained above, in this invention, a plurality of heat exchangers are disposed in the width direction in contact with the longitudinal ridgeline.
The depth of the heat exchanger has been reduced, and since there is no need to provide an indoor air suction chamber on the side of the heat exchanger, the device can be made thinner, and the filter installed on the suction side of the heat exchanger can be Since both are in contact with the front panel, maintenance and inspection can be easily performed by removing the front panel.
