The present invention deals with the phenomenon of bubbling on the drawing surface (bubbles are generated when the drawing surface or paint is kneaded, when a paint brush is rubbed against a drawing object such as paper or a palette, or due to vibrations such as transportation; This invention relates to a paint that has excellent dispersibility and suppresses the phenomenon of air bubbles disappearing from the drawing surface and causing the drawing surface to become fluffy. Conventional watercolor paints are mainly composed of pigments, water-soluble polymer substances, and anionic surfactants such as naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensates to improve dispersibility. If a large amount is used, although the dispersibility is relatively good, bubbles will occur on the drawing surface due to air bubbles, creating a crater-like drawing surface and significantly reducing the value of the painting. If the amount of the agent used is reduced, foaming will be less likely to occur, but there will be a problem that the dispersibility will be reduced. The dispersion effect (wetting effect) and antifoaming effect of this surfactant are contradictory, and it has been extremely difficult to simultaneously satisfy both effects with conventional paints. Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, the present inventors first proposed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-6226 a polyoxyethylene paint that promotes the dispersibility of granular paint in water and reduces the foaming phenomenon. We proposed the use of nonionic surfactants such as alkyl ethers, but in order to provide watercolor paints that further develop the invention, we conducted various studies on antifoaming effects and dispersion mechanisms, and found that special surfactants The present invention has been completed based on this discovery, and the gist thereof is a watercolor paint containing at least a pigment, a water-soluble polymer substance, and an acetylene glycol derivative. A particularly important point in the present invention is the use of acetylene glycol derivatives as surfactants. Why is the antifoaming effect promoted by using acetylene glycol derivatives?
Furthermore, although it is not certain that the dispersibility is improved, it is assumed as follows. Examples of acetylene glycol derivatives include:
2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-
These include 4,7-diol and 3,6-dimethyl-4-oxine-3,6-diol, and unlike ordinary nonionic surfactants, their structure has a triple bond in the center, and the adjacent carbon atoms A hydroxyl group and a methyl group are bonded to the molecule, and the combination of this triple bond and the hydroxyl group adjacent to it greatly increases the electron density, making the center of the molecule strongly polar. Therefore, although acetylene glycol derivatives are nonionic, they have properties that combine wettability and antifoaming properties, which are not found in ordinary nonionic surfactants. , it can be assumed that it has an antifoaming effect. The components of the watercolor paint of the present invention will be explained below. The pigment is used as a coloring agent, and various known organic and inorganic pigments can be used, but typical examples include titanium oxide, Hansa yellow, disazo yellow, Vulcan orange,
Examples include carmine 6B, ultramarine blue, phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green, ocher, iron oxide, carbon black, and mica-based pigments. or,
The amount used is preferably 3 to 20% by weight based on the total amount of paint. Water-soluble polymeric substances are mainly used to impart fixability to drawing objects such as paper and to impart spreadability to paints, and include known natural polymeric substances and semi-synthetic polymeric substances. Various synthetic polymer substances are selected and used in relation to other materials, and typical examples include gum arabic, dextrin, carboxymethyl cellulose, and polyvinylpyrrolidone. The amount used is preferably 15 to 25% by weight based on the total amount of paint. As derivatives of acetylene glycol, surfinol 104, surfinol 104E, surfinol 104H (above, 2,
4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-4.7-
Diol and its solution type; manufactured by Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., USA) is Surfynol TG (2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyl-4,7-diol and polyoxyethylene.
Ethylene glycol solutions of mixtures with alkyl phenyl ethers (manufactured by Air Products and Chemicals, USA) can be obtained and used as commercial products. The amount used is preferably 0.000012 to 0.5% by weight based on the total amount of paint in terms of solid content. The present invention has the above-mentioned components as essential components, but in order to further improve dispersibility and impart freeze stability, glycerin, ethylene glycol, sorbitol, etc. that are compatible with the surfactant are added. Wetting agents, preservatives, etc., such as calcium carbonate and silica powder, may be added as appropriate. Further, as a surfactant, a nonionic surfactant such as a polyoxyethylene alkyl phenyl ether type and an anionic surfactant such as a naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate are used in combination with the acetylene glycol derivative. This is useful in that the dispersibility can be further improved. The desired paint can be obtained by using the above components alone or in combination with a stirrer such as a mixer or a stirrer such as a triple roll. In addition, when considering the compatibility of each material or the operation time, it is also possible to heat appropriately during the operation. Examples will be described below, and in the examples, parts simply indicate parts by weight. Example 1 (yellow edge color watercolor paint) Hansa Yellow 10G 11.0 parts Shinin Green 0.2〃 Shinin Blue 0.2〃 Titanium oxide 2.0〃 Gum Arabic 18.0〃 Surfynol 104E 2.0〃 (0.37% aqueous solution, 0.0037 parts in terms of solid content) Glycerin 9.0 〃 Calcium carbonate 30.0 parts Silica powder 2.0〃 Water 28.0〃 Proxel CRL (manufactured by ICI, UK, preservative)

The composition and formulation were the same as in Example 1. Comparative Example 2 The composition and formulation were the same as in Example 1, except that 2.0 parts of Demol N (30% aqueous solution) was used in place of Surf-Inol 104E. Using the formulations of the above Examples and Comparative Examples, each component was placed in a lab mixer, stirred for 15 minutes, and then passed through a triple roll twice to obtain watercolor paints. The dispersibility and antifoaming properties of the watercolor paints obtained in each of the Examples and Comparative Examples were tested and the results are shown in the following table.
