い。 Generally, in a bicycle ergometer, the load given to the subject is controlled by measuring the human heart rate.
The signal is used for control via the control section. By the way, if the subject's heart rate measurement sensor is removed during exercise, heart rate information will no longer be transmitted to the control unit, and the subject's physical fitness will no longer be able to accurately evaluate its physical fitness, making it impossible to perform appropriate training. In extreme cases, the subject may be suddenly overloaded and the subject may become in a dangerous state.

うになつている。 In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a control section that generates a load control signal based on heartbeat. Reference numeral 2 denotes a clock generating section of the control section 1. Reference numeral 3 denotes a load control transistor operated by a signal from the control section 1, which is inserted into the current supply circuit of the eddy current brake 4 and controls the current to the eddy current brake 4. Reference numeral 5 denotes a heartbeat sensor worn by the subject, and its signal is amplified by an amplification section 6 and transmitted to the control section 1 as heartbeat data. Reference numeral 7 designates a switch for checking the sensor installation, which uses a normally closed contact, and one terminal is branched and connected to the clock input of the control section 1 and the base of the load control transistor 3 through diodes 8 and 9. There is. The other terminal is connected to ground, and the switch body is installed in the same place as the sensor. In Figure 2, 12 is the subject, 11 is the subject's ear, 1
3 is a load, 10 is a control box, 14 is a pedal, and the load 13 is adapted to apply a load to the rotation of the pedal.

に過負荷が被験者へ加わらない。 When the above configuration is normal, as shown in FIG. 2, the heart rate sensor 5 is attached to the ear 11 of the subject 12, the switch 7 is turned off, the clock is normally given to the control section 1, and the control signal is , is normally transmitted to the load control transistor 3, and the current flows to the eddy current brake 4 and the test subject 12
This means that a load is being added to the . If the heart rate sensor 5 is removed from the subject 12, the switch 7 will be turned on and the diodes 8 and 9 will be turned on.
The clock and control signals are bypassed to ground through the circuit, and the clock is no longer sent to the control section 1, the control section 1 stops as it is, the load control transistor 3 is turned OFF, and the current flows to the eddy current brake 4. The flow stops and no load is placed on the subject 12. By removing the heart rate sensor 5 in this manner, the load placed on the subject can be reduced to zero. When the heart rate sensor 5 is attached again, the switch 7 is turned off and returns to a normal state, and physical fitness measurement or training is performed so that no overload is applied to the subject at all times.

のである。 In this way, the bicycle ergometer of the present invention can temporarily stop the operation of the device when a heart rate sensor is not attached, and can measure the subject's physical fitness or maintain the state during training. It allows for evaluation, allows for safe training, and is very effective.
