[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention is a board stacking connector (hereinafter referred to as a connector) for electrically connecting a plurality of predetermined electrodes on two individual boards arranged above and below in a positioned state. In particular, we have proposed a connector that can easily and reliably connect each electrode even if there is a slight deviation in the mounting position of each board.

Conventionally, when electrically connecting a plurality of predetermined electrodes of two separate substrates disposed one above the other in a positioned state, the following procedure has been conventionally performed. That is, appropriate male connectors are connected to the electrodes of each board, and connections between the male connectors are made using a connecting member in which female connectors that engage with these male connectors are connected to the ends of a plurality of electric wires, or
Alternatively, electric wires are directly connected to a plurality of predetermined electrodes of each substrate by, for example, soldering. As a result, a large number of male and female connectors are required, which increases costs, and also increases the number of man-hours required for soldering work, resulting in poor workability. In order to eliminate this inconvenience, if we decide to connect the required terminals by engaging the test connectors and male connectors that are directly connected to each board by soldering etc., it will be difficult to position each board. If there is a slight misalignment, conventional female connectors and male connectors cannot absorb this misalignment during engagement.
This has caused problems such as connection failure and connection failure.

That is, the female contact 31 is formed by bending a single substantially rectangular metal plate having a substantially L-shaped notch 315 and a substantially L-shaped notch 314. In other words, a portion obtained by extending the substantially L-shaped notch 314 is defined as a folding line 313a, a portion extending the end portion of the L-shaped portion in a direction substantially parallel to the L-shaped notch 314 is defined as a folding line 313b, and the A single metal plate is formed by bending the bending line 313c to be a portion extending from the corner of the substantially L-shaped notch 315 in a direction substantially parallel to the bending line 313b. (See Figure 6a). In addition, the folding line 313b
The opposing portion 31c, approximately L, is between the curved line 313c and the bending line 313c.
An opposing portion 31d is formed between the letter-shaped notch 315 and the folding line 313a.

The female contacts 31 are housed in four bottomed compartments 321 formed in a box-shaped housing member 32 made of a suitable insulating material. Elongated holes 322 and 323 are formed on both sides of the housing member 32 in the width direction, corresponding to the connection parts 311 and 312, respectively, and the long diameter direction of the elongated holes 322 and 323 is in the width direction of the movable pieces 31a and 31b. It has been matched to Note that 324 is a cover plate that closes the opening of the compartment 321 to prevent the female contact 31 from falling off and also prevents dust inside the compartment 321, and is appropriately locked in the state where the opening is closed. It is becoming more and more like this.

This connector configured in this way is used as follows. That is, in the positioned state, the male contacts 11 and 21 of the male connector sections 1 and 2 are connected by soldering or the like to respective predetermined electrodes of the substrates 4 and 5 arranged above and below as shown in FIG. For example, when the male contact 11 is first inserted into the connecting portion 311, the male contact 12 is movable relative to the Y direction as described above, so the female connector portion 3 is appropriately moved in the Y direction, and the elongated hole 31 is inserted into the connecting portion 311.
The position 3 may correspond to the position of the contact 22. Even if there is a slight misalignment in the positioning of the substrates 4 and 5, the connection portion 312 and the male contact 2
2 is relatively movable in the X direction as described above, so when the substrates 4 and 5 are brought close together, the contact 22 is inserted into the connecting portion 312 through the elongated hole 323 and electrically connected as described above. becomes.
