本発明は、ガス湯沸器などガス器具に必要な空

第1図,第2図に従来の湯沸器及びその制御図を

続すると、トランス2によつて器具の制御に必要
な電圧が得られる。第1図において、水が熱交換
器16に供給されてフロースイツチ3がONする
と、メインコントローラ15により第1次制御弁
4が開き、同時に点火トランス14により点火プ
ラグ5に放電が起こる。ガスはパイロツトバーナ
6から出て、点火プラグ5により種火がつく。こ
の種火を熱電対7が感知し、これを受けてメイン
コントローラ15が第2次制御弁8を開く。ガス
はガスバーナ9を通り、第2次制御弁8を通り、
メーンバーナ10へ送られる。ここで、前記種火
から引火してメーンバーナ10に点火する。以上
が簡単な点火までの説明であるが、器具設置運転
時には、ガスが第1次制御弁4まで送られるの
に、先ずガス配管中の空気抜きが必要である。こ
の空気抜きを行う際、パイロツトバーナから行う
と30分から1時間もかかり、作業性が著しく悪
い。また、空気抜きをメーンバーナ10からいき
なり連続して行うと、ガスが放出されたときにバ
ツクフアイヤーや爆発点火を起こして危険であ
る。なお、第1図において、17はガス器具のカ

る。これにより、制御器11にタイマー回路13
が連動するようになる。このタイマー回路13に
は第2次制御弁8を開閉させる機能をも持たせて
おき、任意の時間間隔で短い時間だけ開くように
第2次制御弁を制御し、この開閉動作を繰り返さ
せる。このようにして、メーンバーナからも空気
抜きを行わせると、空気抜きに要する時間が著し
く短縮され、また、いきなり連続してメーンバー
ナから空気抜きを行つた時に生じる爆発点火やバ
ツクフアイヤーなどの事故も防ぐことができる。
一例として、第2次制御弁8を5秒間閉じて1秒
間だけ開くとする。パイロツトバーナとメーンバ
ーナの面積比は一般に200あるので、パイロツト
バーナから空気抜きを行つて30分要するとする
と、この例では約9秒で空気抜きを行うことがで
きることになる。また、メーンバーナからは6秒
に1秒間しか生ガスが放出されないので、空気量
に対し放出ガス量が少ないため、爆発点火やバツ
