Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time of air vent by a method wherein short-time intermittent opening of a main burner is performed for venting air in the piping connected to gas appliance in addition to the opening of a pilot burner. CONSTITUTION:When a flow switch 3 is turned ON, a controlling valve 4 for the pilot burner is open through a controller 11 in order to lead gas to the pilot burner. At this time, when no ignition occurs immediately at the pilot burner in spite of electric discharges at an ignition plug 5 because of unsuccessful venting of the air in the piping, an air venting switch 12 is turned ON, resulting in interlocking a timer circuit 13 with the controller 11. The timer circuit 13 contains a function to open and close a controlling valve 8 for the main burner and opens and closes the controlling valve 8 intermittently for an arbitrary short time. Consequently, the time of air vent can be shorten and at the same time demerits such as explosive ignition, back fire and the like, which may occur when gas appliance is directly connected to a main burner, can be prevented.

第2次制御弁8を通りバーナ10へ送られる、ここで前
記の種火よシ引火してメイン・ぐ−ナに火がつぐ。以上
が簡単な点火までの説明であるが、ガスが第1次制御弁
4まで送られるのに器具設置試運転時には、ガス配管中
の空気抜きが必要である。ここでこの空気抜きを行う際
、・セイロ、ドパ〜すよシ行々うと30分から1時間も
かかり作業性が悪い。またガスをメインバーナに直結す
ると、バツクファイヤーや爆発点火になり危険である。

2をONさせる。これより制御器11にタイマー回路1
3が連動するようになる。このタイマー回路13には第
2次制御弁8を開閉させる機能をも含−1せておき、任
意の時間で第2次制御弁を開閉させる。このようにして
メインバーナからも空気抜きを行わせるとかなりの空気
抜きにかかる時間が短縮され、また直接メインバーナに
接続した時に生じる爆発点火やバツクファイヤーなどの
デメリットも防ぐことが可能である。−例として第2次
制御弁を5秒間閉じて1秒間だけ開くとする。パイロッ
トバーナとメインバーナの面積比は一般に200あるの
で、ノクイロソトパーナから空気抜きを行なうと30分
かかったとすると、前述の例で考えると約9?、で空気
抜きを行うことができ、またメインバーナからは1秒間
しか生ガスが放出されないので前述のデメリットも生じ
にくい4、この発明は以上説明したように、第2次制御
弁を短時間開くことにより、空気抜き必要時間を大幅に
短縮させ、また常時開放させて一空気抜きを行う際に生
じる爆発点火やバツクファ・イヤーも生じにぐいという
効果がある。
