As mentioned above, conventional rotating electrical machine storage rooms have only one exhaust window through which the air discharged from the rotating electrical machines passes, making it difficult to flow enough cooling air to match the amount of heat generated by the rotating electrical machines. The drawback was that the output was kept low.

Next, the ventilation operation in this rotating electric machine device will be explained. The wind sucked in from the intake port 12 is introduced into the rotating electrical machine 1 through the intake window 41 of the rotating electrical machine 1 via the intake path 51. A portion of the wind that cools the rotating electric machine 1 flows from the upper exhaust window 42 to the exhaust passage 53 through the central ventilation passage 52 as in the conventional case. In addition, the remaining part of the air flows from the lower exhaust window 15 of the rotating electric machine 1 to the ventilation path 3.
7→ventilation path 19 of common bed 3→exhaust path 53 in this order. The wind that enters the exhaust passage 53 from above and below and merges is discharged from the exhaust port 13.

Note that the sound reduction effect can be improved by pasting a sound absorbing material (not shown) around the ventilation passage 19 in the common bed 3. Further, the control device 5 may be attached to the floor 34 of the control device storage chamber 33.

As described above, according to this invention, the top plate of the common bed is provided with openings that communicate with the lower exhaust window of the rotating electrical machine and the exhaust path of the cabinet, so that the exhaust air that cools the rotating electrical machine is routed to the common bed. Since the air is discharged through the ventilation path formed between the top plate and the bottom plate, the area of the exhaust window of the rotating electric machine can be approximately doubled compared to conventional ones.
Therefore, the amount of cooling air passing through the rotating electric machine increases, and if the size of the cabinet is the same as the conventional one,
This has the effect of increasing the output of the rotating electric machine.
