Conventionally, when ventilating the attic, the method of always opening the vent has a problem in that cold air enters in the winter and lowers the indoor temperature. There are also ways to ventilate by driving ventilation doors and dampers.
The problem was that a drive structure was required, making the device large-scale, and that it could not be opened and closed automatically.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a roof material, which is installed on a roof base material (not shown). Approximately circular openings 2 are formed in the roofing material 1 at appropriate locations to allow ventilation between the attic and the outdoors. Reference numeral 3 denotes a receiving body, which is formed into a cylindrical shape, has a receiving flange 4 formed on the outer periphery of the lower edge, and has a male thread 11 formed on the outer periphery of the receiving body 3. 5 is a presser foot;
It is formed in a cylindrical shape, and has a presser flange 6 formed on the outer periphery of the lower edge, and a female thread 12 formed on the inner periphery of the presser body 5. The presser flange 6 is inclined outward toward the bottom. Then, the holding body 5 is screwed into the receiving body 3 inserted into the opening 2 from below, and the roofing material 1 is held between the receiving flange 4 and the holding flange 6, and the receiving body 3 and the holding body are attached to the roofing material 1. 5 is attached. Reference numeral 10 denotes a rain shield shaped like a canopy, which is held by the presser body 5 via a support 13 connected to the presser body 5. A lid 8 is provided on the ventilation hole 7 at the upper edge of the presser foot 5.
are arranged so that the ventilation opening 7 can be opened and closed freely. A coil spring 15 as an example of the displacement body 9 is inserted into the rod-shaped body 14 extending from the lid body 8 , and the lower end of the coil spring 15 is supported by a supporter 13 . The displacement body 9 displaces greatly due to temperature changes, and as a displacement body 9 that displaces greatly and reversibly due to temperature changes, martensitic transformation occurs when a specific (transformation) temperature such as 30°C is exceeded. There is a shape memory alloy (commonly known as nitinol) that deforms greatly and reversibly deforms to its original shape when the temperature drops below a certain temperature, such as the above-mentioned 30° C., but other materials may also be used. Shape memory alloys are alloys of nickel, titanium, etc., and can be heated from -273℃ by changing the ratio of nickel to titanium and adding small amounts of other elements.
The transformation temperature can be controlled over a wide range of about 100℃. Moreover, when it transforms into a specific shape, the force it exerts is about 200 times greater than the force caused by expansion and contraction of a bimetal element of the same size.

According to this configuration, when the temperature exceeds about 30°C, the coil spring 15 made of a shape memory alloy deforms into a specific shape of a certain length, pushes up the lid body 8, opens the ventilation port 7, and releases hot air. This system automatically ventilates the air from the attic to the outside in the summer. Then, when the temperature drops below 30°C, the coil spring 15 deforms to its original shape with a certain length.
The lid 8 is lowered to close the ventilation opening 7 to prevent heating air from escaping during the winter.

Fig. 4 shows still another embodiment of the same as above, which was implemented in the ridge section, and the roofing material 1 is a horizontal member provided along the entire length of the ridge extending between the ridge beams 17 and 17. . In this case, the roof ventilation devices A are scattered along the length of the ridge, and windbreak plates 18 serving as decorations are provided along the entire length of the ridge. The windbreak plate 18 may be a roofing material as shown in FIG. Further, as shown in FIG. 8, the roof ventilation device A may be formed at the top of the hip ridge.

In summary, the present invention is provided with a lid that closes the ventilation port at the upper edge of the presser body, and the lid is supported by a displacement body that is largely reversibly displaced due to temperature changes.
The displacement body can be greatly reversibly displaced due to temperature changes in summer and winter, allowing the lid to be moved to open and close the ventilation opening.
Although it is a simple device, it has the advantage of being able to automatically open and close ventilation holes. In addition, a receiving flange is provided on the outer periphery of the lower edge of the cylindrical receiver, a presser flange is provided on the outer periphery of the lower edge of the cylindrical presser body,
The retaining body is screwed into the receiving body inserted into the opening and the roofing material is held between the receiving flange and the retaining flange, making it easy and secure to drain water around the receiving body and presser body used to create ventilation holes. It has the advantage of being able to be carried out.
