In recent years, plastic bags have been widely used as packaging materials because they are hygienic and can be mass-produced at low cost. In addition, such a continuous member of plastic bags (hereinafter referred to as a continuous plastic bag-like member or simply a continuous bag-like member) can be folded in half and stored in a cardboard box, etc., and used as a pop-up tissue paper as needed. A structure in which the sheets can be taken out and used one by one has also been proposed (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 57-96948, No. 57-142872, and Japanese Patent Application No. 1984-194004).

By the way, as a device for folding the continuous bag-like member, the folding device advances and retreats from at least one side in the width direction of each of the continuous bag-like members, which is a band-like member, toward the folded end position. The belt-shaped member is alternately wound around the folded-edge retention member while reciprocating between the folded end position of the belt-shaped member in a straight line or in an arc along the longitudinal direction of the bag-shaped member. The present applicant has already proposed a device equipped with a belt-like member feeding mechanism that supplies the belt-like member in a hanging manner (Japanese Patent Application No. 57-7125).
No. 57-9788, No. 58-1886). According to such a previously proposed folding device, there is no risk of damaging the band-shaped member, and the band-shaped member can be folded reliably and at a high speed.
However, since the supply mechanism reciprocates between the folded end positions, it is difficult to properly operate the supply mechanism and the folded end holding member without colliding with each other. had. Further, there is also a difficulty in operating both the supply mechanism and the holding member using a common drive source. Of course, these difficulties have been solved by the previously proposed device, but this tends to make the overall structure of the device complicated.

Unlike the previously proposed device which is equipped with a feeding mechanism that reciprocates between the folded end positions of the strip, the present invention uses a pair of film feed arms that swing alternately to the folded end positions of the strip. A strip member feeding mechanism is provided that supplies the strip member to the folded end position by alternately guiding the member from both sides, and this feeding mechanism supplies at least the strip member at the folded end position of each strip member. The belt-like member is configured to be alternately wrapped around the folded end holding member that advances and retreats from one side in the width direction toward the folded end position, and the supply mechanism and the folded end holding member are prevented from colliding with each other. The purpose of the present invention is to achieve the above-mentioned object by making it possible to operate the feed mechanism and the folded end holding member without any problems, thereby simplifying the connection and interlocking structure of the supply mechanism and the folded end holding member.

FIG. 6A shows the film feed arm 55 and opening/closing blade 102 corresponding to the operating state shown in FIG.
The operating status of the is shown. In this figure, the film feed arm 55 on the right side in the figure is laid down at the folded end position on the left side in FIG. A folded end portion is about to be formed in the bag-like member 2. Inside the end pressing plate 56 (on the base end side of the film feed arm 55), the opening/closing wing 102 on the left side in FIG. 1 is closed and positioned, and as shown in FIG. The folded end receiving member 104 is retracted to a position recessed by a predetermined length from the folded end on the left side. That is, the proximal block 5
1, the stopper 10 comes into contact with the leg 53 when the leg 53 is rotated counterclockwise in FIG.
7, the rotating piece 106 is also forcibly rotated counterclockwise against the spring 108, and the folded end receiving member 104 is retracted in the aforementioned direction.

Then, as shown in FIG. 6B, the film feed arm 55 which was in the lying state is swung in the direction of standing up, and the swinging arm on the left side in FIG. 1 is changed from the standing state to the lying state. and sway. The continuous bag-shaped member 2 supplied from the tension adjustment mechanism 20 is guided to the folded end position on the right side in the figure by the end pressing plate 56 at the tip of the film feeding arm 55 which is in the collapsed state. At this time, the pair of opening/closing wings 102 on the left side are maintained in a closed state.
Therefore, the continuous bag-like member 2 is wound around the opening/closing wing 102 as the film feed arm 55 shifts to the laid-down state. At this time, the pair of opening/closing wings 102 on the right side are shifted from the closed state to the expanded state.

Further, since the leg portion 53 of the base end block 51 that supports the base end of the film feed arm 55 on the left side is rotated clockwise, the stopper 107 that was locked to this leg portion 53 is also rotated clockwise. The folded end receiving member 104 is rotated, that is, the folded end receiving member 104 moves to the folded end position under the force of the tension coil spring 108, and the folded end receiving member 104 and the opening/closing wing 102 move to the folded end position.
A continuous bag-like member 2 is firmly held between the two. As a result, when the continuous bag-like member 2 is fed to the folded end position by the swinging of the film feed arm 55, no tensile force is applied from the clamping portion of the continuous bag-like member 2 to the folded side. The continuous bag-like member 2 is reliably fed out from the tension adjustment mechanism 20 side.

As the pair of film feed arms 55 are repeatedly oscillated, the cradle 61 of the stock mechanism
The upper continuous bag-like member 2 is attached to a film feed arm 55.
Each time it is laid down, the central portion is pressed down by the presser plate 58, and as a result, the insertion member 62 is reliably inserted into the overlapping notches 5. Further, as is clear from the above, when the continuous bag-like member 2 is fed to one folded end position by the swinging of the film feed arm 55, the opening/closing wing 102 and the folded end position are Since the continuous bag-like member 2 is held between the receiving member 104 and no tensile force is applied to the folded side of the continuous bag-like member 2, the insertion member 6
It is possible to eliminate the problem that the cut 5 of the continuous bag-like member 2 into which the bag 2 is inserted is stretched and torn.

Since the continuous bag-like member 2 is alternately guided from both sides by a pair of film feed arms 55 that repeatedly oscillate and is fed to the folded end position, it does not rotate like the previously proposed device. There is no need for a mechanism for converting motion into linear reciprocating motion, a mechanism for operating the reciprocating supply mechanism and the folded end holding member without colliding with each other, and various other devices. Therefore, the configuration of the entire device can be extremely simplified, and the movement of the entire device can also be simplified. Therefore, it is possible to operate the device at a higher speed than the previously proposed device, and the folding speed is improved.

In addition, since the number of parts is significantly reduced, each part can be made larger and stronger, increasing the strength of the device, and making it possible to apply sufficient force to each part, making it easier to fold. It can be made certain. Furthermore, since the strength of the entire device is increased in this way, it can sufficiently withstand high-speed operation, and from this point of view as well, there is an effect that the folding speed is further improved.

Furthermore, when the film feed arm 55 guides the continuous bag-like member 2 to the folded end position, the folding end pressing plate 56 applies appropriate tension to the continuous bag-like member 2 and 2 (to smooth out wrinkles, etc.), the folding accuracy of the continuous bag-like member 2 is improved, and it is possible to fold the continuous bag-like member 2 accurately to a certain fold width and neatly without wrinkles. can.

Furthermore, the film feed arm 55, the opening/closing blade 102, etc. are mounted as a unit on the base block 96, and the distance between the two base blocks 96 can be adjusted by moving the two left and right base blocks 96 in the horizontal direction. By changing the , the continuous bag-like member 2 can be folded into fold widths of various sizes,
It is extremely convenient.

Furthermore, in the previously proposed device, the insertion member of the stock mechanism was moved up and down at appropriate timing because the supply mechanism reciprocated between the positions of both folded ends and because it was necessary to ensure that the strip member was inserted. In this embodiment, the continuous bag-like member 2 is fed to the folded end position by the swinging film feed arm 55, and the insertion member 62 is forced into the notch 5 by the holding plate 58 attached to the arm 55. Since the structure is such that the insertion member 62 is inserted through the folding device 40, there is no need to move the insertion member 62 up and down in synchronization with the folding operation of the folding device 40. Therefore, the structure of the stock mechanism is also simple.

Note that in carrying out the operation, the insertion member 62 and the notch 5 in the continuous bag-like member 2 are not necessarily required, and if the insertion member 62 and the notch 5 are not provided in this way, the continuous bag-like member 2 is When the member 2 is fed to the folded end position, the opening/closing wing 102 and the folded end receiving member 104
By holding the continuous bag-like member 2 between the folding and folding ends so that no tensile force is applied to the folded side, it is possible to eliminate the problem of the position of the already folded folded end moving and shifting. .

In addition, although the folding end holding member is the opening/closing wing 102, the folding end holding member may be rod-shaped or the like, and is not limited to one that rotates, but one that reciprocates linearly. Moreover, it is not limited to the one provided on both sides in the width direction of the continuous bag-like member at the folded end position, and may be provided only on one side. In short, the belt-like member is wrapped around the folded end part. Any material that holds the folded end portion from the inside may be used.
