In the conventional linear heating element, as shown in Fig. 1, a heating wire a is covered with an insulating material b, and the outer periphery of the insulating material b is covered with a metal mesh c to form a linear heating element d. .
The metal net c served as a ground, and also protected the insulator b and the heating wire a in case something collided with it. However, the metallic mesh c is easy to bend but is weak against tensile force, so if the linear heating element d was pulled too much during construction, there was a risk that the heating wire a would break. In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, in the case where the linear heating elements d are wound around the outer periphery of the pipe P for power supply heating, in the portion where the linear heating elements d are closely adjacent to each other, the adjacent heating wires a, Due to the narrow spacing between a, abnormal heating may occur if used for a long period of time.

On the other hand, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 52-167638 discloses a method in which two heater wires whose exteriors are covered with a heat-resistant insulating material and a reinforcing wire material formed by twisting stainless steel wire or the like are triple-twisted. A wire heater is disclosed in which a single twisted string is formed, the outside of which is covered with an insulating tube made of rubber or the like, and the outside of which is further covered with a metal braided body. However, in this wire heater, although the heater wire is covered with an insulating material, the reinforcing wire is not covered with an insulating material. There is a risk that the insulation material will be damaged by the reinforcing wire. In this case, a problem arises in that the heater wire is short-circuited with the reinforcing wire, which impairs electrical safety.

This idea is an electrically safe linear heating element that allows heat to be transferred to a pipe-shaped object, so that no tension is applied to the heating wire regardless of the quality of the construction, and the heating wire does not short-circuit with the reinforcing wire. The primary purpose is to provide the following. A second object of the present invention is to provide a linear heating element that is flexible and flexible and thus convenient when used by being wrapped around a pipe-shaped object.

In order to achieve the above object, the linear heating element A according to this invention is a linear heating element that transfers heat to a pipe-shaped object, and is formed by covering a heating wire 1a with an insulating material 1b. and a reinforcing body 2, which covers the reinforcing wire 2a with an insulator 2b, are each constructed separately, and when these heating element 1 and reinforcing body 2 are combined,
It is characterized by being covered and integrated with a metal mesh 3. This will be explained in detail below based on drawings showing examples thereof.

FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of the linear heating element according to this invention, in which the heating wire 1a is connected to the insulator 1.
Two reinforcing bodies 2, 2 each having a reinforcing wire 2a covered with an insulating material 2b are placed on both sides of the heating element 1 covered with a metal wire 2a, sandwiching the heat generating element 1 covered in the heat generating element 1 in the middle. It is covered with a net 3 and integrated. As shown in the figure, the heating element 1 and the reinforcing element 2 are constructed as separate bodies, and are integrated with a metal mesh 3, so that a gap 4 is formed between the heating element 1 and the reinforcing element 2. . Therefore, even when the linear heating element A is wound around a thin pipe, the gap 4 becomes a play, and the linear heating element A can flexibly adapt to the pipe. Since the heating element 1 and the reinforcing body 2 are separate bodies and covered with the metal net 3, there is a degree of freedom in which the positional relationship between them can be shifted within the metal net. Therefore, when winding around a pipe or the like, the heating element 1 and the reinforcing body 2 can be appropriately shifted at a sharp bend, and can sufficiently follow the bend angle.

4a shows a state in which the linear heating element A shown in FIG. 3 is wound around the pipe P in a spiral manner. Diagram b
2 shows a cross-sectional view of a portion where the linear heating elements A are closely adjacent and in contact with each other. As shown in the figure, since the reinforcing bodies 2, 2 are provided between the heating elements 1, the distance L between the heating elements 1, 1 becomes wider. Moreover, since the gap 4 is formed, the heat conductivity of the heating element to the pipe is better than when the heating element and the reinforcing body are integrated and covered with an insulator.

As described above, in the linear heating element according to this invention, the heating element 1 and the reinforcing element 2 are constructed separately, and the two are integrated together, so even if tensile force is applied during construction, the reinforcing element 2 Since the power is supported by the heat generating wire 1a, the heating wire 1a will not be disconnected. Since the heating element and the reinforcing element are separate bodies, the heating element 1 can be flexibly wrapped around the pipe, has good flexibility, and the heating element 1 has good heat conductivity. In addition, in this embodiment, when the heating elements 1, 1 are wound spirally around the pipe P, the distance between the adjacent heating elements 1, 1 is kept wide by the width of the reinforcing elements 2, 2, so even if used for a long time, there will be no abnormality. No heating occurs.

As described above, the linear heating element according to this invention is one that transfers heat to a pipe-shaped object, and includes a heating element 1 formed by covering a heating wire 1a with an insulating material 1b,
A reinforcing body 2 consisting of a reinforcing wire 2a covered with an insulator 2b is constructed separately, and the heating element 1 and the reinforcing body 2 are combined and covered with a metal net 3 to be integrated. During construction,
Even if a tensile force is applied, the force is supported by the reinforcing body 2, so that the heating wire 1a does not break. Since the heating element and the reinforcing element are separate bodies, the heating element 1 can be flexibly wrapped around a pipe-like object, has good flexibility, and the heating element 1 has good heat conductivity. Further, the heating wire 1a does not short-circuit with the reinforcing wire 2a, so electrical safety is high. As mentioned above, the degree of prevention of wire breakage, the degree of flexibility,
Also, a degree of electrical safety is required even when a linear heating element is used through a pipe-shaped object, so the linear heating element according to this invention is
It is also effective to use it by passing it through a pipe.
