[Detailed description of the invention] This invention aims to prevent the filtration layer of the filter provided in the circulation path from being destroyed when the amount of circulating solvent decreases in a dry cleaner that cleans while circulating a solvent. It is something.

Many dry cleaners circulate the solvent during cleaning and filter it with a filter installed in the circulation path in order to filter out lint, etc. from the dirty solvent during cleaning.
When washing items that easily absorb solvents, such as wool, the amount of solvent in the washing tank may drop, and as a result, the circulation pump sucks in air and sprays solvent droplets onto the filtration layer in the filter. However, it may destroy the filtration layer made of columnar clay or the like.

In this case, when the solvent level in the cleaning tank decreases, the amount of solvent circulated is kept constant by circulating the solvent in the auxiliary tank, thereby preventing the filtration layer in the filter from being destroyed.

To explain based on the diagram below, 1 is the main tank containing the solvent, 2 is the pump, 3 is the filter with a filter layer made of columnar clay, 4 is the cleaning tank with a rotating drum inside, and 5 is the liquid A button trap with built-in position switch 6 allows the main tank 1 and pump 2 to be removed during cleaning.
The solenoid valve 7 in between is opened and the pump 2 is operated to transfer the solvent in the main tank 1 to the cleaning tank 4. When a certain amount of solvent enters the cleaning tank, the liquid level switch 6 in the button trap is activated, closing the electromagnetic valve 7 and simultaneously opening the electromagnetic valve 8 below the button trap. During the cleaning operation, the pump 2 is rotating, and the solvent in the cleaning tank 4 is circulated through the button trap 5, the pump 2, and the filter 3, and the dirt in the solvent is removed from the filter 3.
is filtered.

When washing items that easily absorb solvent, such as wool, the solvent level drops during washing and pump 2 begins to suck in air, which increases the temperature of this pump and adversely affects the bearing metal. Droplets may be ejected toward the filtration layer within the filter 3 and destroy this filtration layer. However, in this case, when the liquid level in the cleaning tank 4 decreases, the liquid level switch 6 detects it and closes the solenoid valve 8, simultaneously opening another solenoid valve 9 and pumping the solvent in the auxiliary tank 10 to the pump 2. and circulates through filter 3. In this case, no solvent is circulated in the cleaning tank 4. Therefore, a certain amount of solvent flows continuously into the filter 3 without destroying the filtration layer within the filter. While the solvent in the auxiliary tank 10 is being circulated, the solvent contained in the laundry gradually flows down, the solvent level in the button trap 5 is restored, and the solenoid valve 8 is activated again.
opens and closes the other solenoid valve 9. In order to promote separation of the solvent from the laundry, the drum in the washing tank 4 may be rotated at high speed to remove liquid at this time. It is also possible to stop the pump 2 when the liquid level in the cleaning tank 4 drops, but the pump will operate intermittently and the solvent will rush into the filtration layer in the filter 3 when the pump is started. It is not suitable because it may be sprayed and destroy the filtration layer.

As described above, in the present invention, by using the auxiliary tank, the solvent can be continuously circulated even if the solvent level in the cleaning tank decreases, and the filtration layer in the filter is not destroyed. Furthermore, since the solvent in the auxiliary tank circulates without passing through the cleaning tank, this solvent is less likely to become contaminated, and the number of times the solvent in the auxiliary tank is distilled can be reduced.

The solvent in the main tank is put into a washing tank by a pump, and during the washing operation, the solvent in the washing tank is circulated by the pump through a button trap and a filter having a filtration layer. A liquid level switch is provided, and when the liquid level detected by this liquid level switch decreases, the solenoid valve on the outflow side of the button trap is closed, and at the same time, the solenoid valve between the auxiliary tank and the pump is opened, and the solvent in the auxiliary tank is removed by the pump. A dry cleaner characterized in that the water is circulated only through a filter without passing through a cleaning tank.
