第１図は本考案に係る一実施例を示すもので、
エンジンの一部の側断面図、第２図Ａは通常の吸
気系の横断面図、第２図Ｂは第２図ＡのＢ―Ｂ線
に沿う断面図、第３図は最適スワールマツプＭを
示すグラフ、第４図は参考例のエンジンの一部の
側断面図である。 また、図中の符号で、１はエンジン、６，２３
は燃焼室、８，２２は吸気弁、１０は副ポート、
１３は副空気通路、１４は弁、１６はコントロー
ルユニツト、２１は吸気ポート、３１は吸気流入
管、３２は副吸気流入管である。

管、３２は副吸気流入管である。
Claims (1)
- 燃焼室の吸気弁上流側に該吸気弁の中心に対し
て偏心して設けられて前記燃焼室内に流入する空
気をスワール流とする吸気ポートと該吸気ポート
の終端部近傍に該吸気ポートに対して画成され且
つ角度を有して設けられた副ポートとからなる可
変スワール吸気系と、前記副ポートを流れる空気
量を変えて前記燃焼室内のスワール流に変化を与
える弁と、エンジンの負荷あるいは回転数等に基
づいてスワール比を選択して前記弁を操作する制
御系とを具えたスワール制御構造において、前記
副ポートを前記吸気ポートとは別部材のパイプ等
を該吸気ポートの内部に挿入して形成したことを
特徴とするスワール制御構造。
