この発明は、塗装人工化粧単板等の塗装人工化

近頃、天然オーク(ナラ)材等の孔圏にみられ
るような立体集中道管を表現しようとして、つぎ
のような方法が考えられている。すなわち、原木
単板を適宜の色調に調色したのち、接着剤を介し
て複数枚積層し、これを一対の平型で圧締して1
次フリツチ化し、得られた1次フリツチに対して
スライス(柾目取り)を施し1次スライス単板を
つくる。つぎに、これを孔圏表現用単板とし、通
常用いられている単板(非孔圏表現用単板)と接
着剤を介して積層し型面に凹凸をもつ一対の凹凸
型で圧締して2次フリツチ化し、これを積層面に
平行にスライスして人工化粧単板をつくり、この
単板面にワイピング塗料を塗装処理するという方
法が考えられている。しかしながら、この方法
は、1次スライス単板の接着剤層(木目様に現わ
れている)によつて道管を表現するため、化粧単
板の単板面に現われている道管が平面的であつて
ワイピング塗装処理してもワイピング塗料がその
道管部分に含侵されずワイピングの効果(道管の
浮き出しによる立体感の付与)がでないという問

孔圏表現用単板の接着剤層がワイピング塗料に用
いられている溶剤に溶解する接着剤で構成されて

実施例
原木単板にクロロプレン系接着剤を塗布して複
数枚重ね、これを一対の平型で圧締して第1図に
示すような1次フリツチ1を得る。第1図におい
て、2は原木単板、3はクロロプレン系接着剤層
である。つぎに、この1次フリツチ1を積層面に
直角でその一側面に平行にスライス(柾目取り)
して、第2図に示すような、細長状の木質層(原
木単板2からなる)2′と細長状の接着剤層(ク
ロロプレン系接着剤層3からなる)3′とが交互
に分布している孔圏表現用単板4をつくる。つぎ
に、この孔圏表現用単板4と通常用いられている
単板(非孔圏表現用単板)とを接着剤を介して交
互に重ね、型面がわん曲している凹凸型で圧締し
て第3図に示すようなわん曲2次フリツチ5をつ
くる。第3図において、6は非孔圏表現用単板、
7は孔圏表現用単板4と非孔圏表現用単板6とを
接着する接着剤層である。ついで、このわん曲2
次フリツチ5を積層面にほぼ平面にスライス(板
目取り)する。その結果、第4図に示すような人
工化粧単板8が得られる。この人工化粧単板8の
単板面には、孔圏表現用単板(第3図)4のクロ
ロプレン系接着剤層3′によつて道管7aが表現
され、この道管7aが列状に並んで孔圏を形成し
ている。つぎに、上記のようにして得られた人工
化粧単板8の単板面にワイピング塗料(シンナー
溶剤入り)を塗布しワイピング処理する。この処
理により、道管7aを表現しているクロロプレン
系接着剤層3′の表面部分がワイピング塗料溶剤
(シンナー)に溶解し、その溶解跡にワイピング
塗料が入り込む。その結果、道管7aが浮き出し
たような形になり、立体感に富むようになる。す
なわち、天然オーク材等にワイピング塗料処理を
施すと、ワイピング塗料が道管内に入り込み道管
が浮き出した感じになるが、上記のように、クロ
ロプレン系接着剤、で道管が表現されている人工
化粧単板にワイピング塗装処理を施してもそれと
