上下両面から挾んで強制的に送り出すようにする
とともに、底面を挾む一方の側壁を可動壁に形成
して、他方に形成した固定壁との間で材料の振れ
を固定するようにしたものもあつたが、その先願
のものも材料の補充に際し、先の材料の挾持のた
めに前進している上面と側面の可動部材を回避さ
せなければ新な材料の投入ができず、前者に比べ
れば約10倍の高速スライスが可能であるに拘らず
材料補充に時間と人手を要する欠点があつた。
