Conventionally, when multiple LEDs are used side by side, the LED lead terminals are soldered and fixed to the printed circuit board, but the mounting spacing and orientation are uneven, and when inserted into the hole in the panel, the LEDs may be oriented incorrectly. Problems have arisen, such as the inserts not being aligned, the inserts being inserted offset in the panel holes, and the inserts being difficult to insert into the panel holes at the same time.

Also, for this purpose, conventionally, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 54-98177, a device is known in which convex portions and concave portions that abut each other are formed on the side surfaces of LEDs, so that the directionality of adjacent LEDs is correctly regulated. It was hot.

However, this prior art example has a problem that adjacent LEDs
Although the directionality of the LEDs is regulated, adjacent LEDs must be pressed against each other so that the convex and concave portions do not separate, which results in poor handling and operability.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the first embodiment of the present invention, with LED10
is a light emitting part 11 and a pair of lead terminals 12 and 13.
and a pair of connecting members 14 and 15. As is well known, the light emitting section 11 has a light emitting source therein, and the lead terminals 12 and 13 are connected to the light emitting source inside the light emitting section 11 . The light emitting section 11 has a rectangular cross section, but this can be made into a round shape or the like if necessary. The pair of connecting members 14 and 15 extend in a straight line in a direction orthogonal to the lead terminals 12 and 13 on the side of the light emitting section 11 from which the lead terminals 12 and 13 extend. That is, lead terminal 1
2 and 13 protrude downward with respect to the light emitting part 11, and a pair of connecting parts 14 and 15 extend in a straight line in the left and right direction with respect to the light emitting part 11. Each connecting member 1
The tip portions 4 and 15 have hook-shaped connecting portions 16 and 17 (L-shaped cross section). This connecting part 16,1
7 is formed symmetrically with respect to the center point on the light emitting part 11 side. Therefore, one of the connecting portions 16 is connected to the connecting member 1
4, and the other connecting portion 17 faces the opposite surface 19 with their respective tip ends 20 and 21 facing each other. Further, the tip portions 20 and 21 have both sides 18,
It is located approximately in the middle of 19. This connecting portion 16,
17 have the same cross-sectional shape, and the tip portions 20,
21 and the grooves 22, 23 have the same cross section, or the tips 20, 21 are formed slightly larger. Therefore, when the tips 20, 21 are inserted into the grooves 22, 23 and connected, the tips 20, 21 and the grooves 2
2 and 23 are mechanically connected against the elastic force, etc. The shapes of the tip portions 20, 21 and the groove portions 22, 23 are not necessarily limited to the illustrated example, and various changes are possible. In short, when the distal ends 20 and 21 are inserted into and connected to the grooves 22 and 23, they are firmly connected, and even if a force is applied in the direction in which the connecting members 14 and 15 extend, they will not move in the extending direction. The shape is such that it does not fall out naturally in the directions of surfaces 18 and 19. Distance l 1 from the center of the light emitting part 11 to the center of the grooves 22 and 23 of both the connecting parts 20 and 21
and l 2 (see Figure 2) are different.

When a plurality of such LEDs 10 are used side by side, the connecting portions 16 and 17 of adjacent LEDs 10 are fitted into each other to connect them, as shown in FIG. Then, since the pair of connecting members 14 and 15 make the light emitting part 11 of each LED 10 different distances from the center of the light emitting part 11 to l1 and l2 , depending on the combination, the distance between the centers can be changed to l3 and l. It can be kept constant at 4 mag. And the light emitting part 11 of each LED 10
can be arranged parallel to each other.

Therefore, the connecting portions 16, 17 of the connecting members 14, 15

In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, a member 25 dedicated to connection is provided.
By using the light emitting part 11 of each LED 10
The distances l 3 , l 4 etc. are set to the connecting parts 26 and 2 of the dedicated member 25.
7. The interval length can be increased. Dedicated parts 2
The connection parts 26 and 27 of 5 are the connection part 1 of the LED 10.
It has the same shape as 6 and 17.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the first and second connecting members 14 and 15 are provided on both sides of the light emitting section 11 and the connecting sections 16 and 17 are provided thereon, the adjacent light emitting sections 11 are interconnected. By combining the hook-like connecting portions 16 and 17 in opposite directions, the distance and direction (parallelism) between them can be regulated. Moreover, they can be connected using a special connecting member 25 in the middle thereof, and can be used in a variety of ways and have practicality. Furthermore, the connecting parts 16 and 17 are hook-shaped,
When connected to each other, the connecting portions 16 and 17 do not come off in the extending direction, and the hook-shaped tip portions 20 and 21 are made to have a slightly larger cross section than the groove portions 21 and 22. As a result, the connected state can be maintained, the relative position is difficult to shift, and handling and workability are good, which is practical.
