[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to a U-shaped groove in which vertically divided notches are provided in the protruding portions of the upper left and right side walls of the U-shaped groove.

Conventionally, when burying a U-shaped trench underground, a trench wider than the width of the U-shaped trench is excavated, crushed stone and a concrete base, etc. are laid at the bottom of the trench, and the U-shaped trench is placed on top of it. , which were interconnected to form a series of sewer ditches.

However, the shape of the U-shaped groove is such that the upper parts of the left and right side walls protrude in order to provide a lid placement part on the upper part of the main body, and the outer peripheral wall has unevenness, making it difficult to fix it in one piece underground without any gaps. There was a risk that rainwater, drainage water, etc. that entered through the connection between the upper outer wall and the ground surface would travel along the side walls of the U-shaped ditch and flow into the cavity at the bottom of the side walls.

In particular, when a U-shaped groove is installed adjacently between a private house and a road, the vibrations of passing cars, etc. can cause rainwater, drainage water, etc. to flow into the U-shaped groove from the separation between the U-shaped groove and the private land. There is a risk that the ground near the ditch will be washed away and fall into the cavity below, causing the foundations of adjacent buildings to cave in or tilt.

This invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to prevent the formation of a vertical cavity in the lower side wall of a U-shaped ditch, and to prevent the soil from flowing into the side wall even if it is adjacent to a structure. That is.

An example of the configuration will be explained based on the drawings.
Vertical notches 4 are provided at appropriate locations on a protrusion 3' at the upper part of one side wall 2' of a U-shaped groove main body 1' having a substantially U-shaped cross section.

Note that the notch 4 can be provided at the end of the side wall as shown in FIG. 2, and it is also possible to provide the notch not only in one side wall as shown in the drawing but also in both side walls. be.

The U-shaped groove according to this invention is constructed as described above, and to explain the actual construction, a groove approximately the same width as the U-shaped groove is excavated, crushed stones 7, etc. are laid at the bottom of the groove, and the upper part is A base concrete 8 is filled, reinforcing bars 9 are placed on the base concrete in advance along the notch, and reinforcing bars 11 are stretched parallel to the longitudinal direction of the U-shaped groove in the lower side wall cavity 10 of the U-shaped groove. By connecting the planted reinforcing bars 9 and filling the notch 4 with concrete using the injection port, the cavity 10 at the bottom of the U-shaped groove can be reliably backfilled, and the earth pressure can be maintained even after burial. It can withstand such external pressures, and the soil on the side walls will not collapse.

As mentioned above, when conventionally burying a U-shaped trench underground, there is a disadvantage that the cavity cannot be filled in advance unless the trench is excavated wider than the width of the U-shaped trench, especially when it is adjacent to a building. However, with this invention, even if the U-shaped trench is buried closely, it is impossible to excavate at all, leaving a hollow space between the U-shaped trench and the ground. Since it can be filled, it does not create a cavity, and since the notch groove is completely filled, it has a good appearance, making it an extremely practical idea.
