[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a filler wire supply guide that is attached to a TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding torch and supplies filler wire. More specifically, the present invention relates to a structure of a filler wire supply guide that uses wire supply guides of the same size and can supply even a filler wire with a smaller diameter than the filler wire for the wire supply guide with good feeding efficiency.

In the figure, 1 is a filler wire, 2 is a straight wire feeding guide for feeding the filler wire 1, and 3 is a straight wire feeding guide for feeding the filler wire 1.
1 is a welding torch guide to which the wire supply guide 2 is attached, 4 is a support arm that holds the guide 3, 5 is the torch body, 6 is a packing, 7 is a nozzle, 8 is an electrode, 9 is a welding arc, and 10 is a base metal. . The torch shown in FIG. 1 had poor operability because the angle Θ formed between the main body 5 and the guide 3 was large.

FIG. 2 shows a conventional example in which the angle Θ is reduced to improve operability. In FIG. 2, the same parts as in FIG. 1 are indicated by the same symbols. 11 is a wire supply guide with a rounded curve for improved operability; 12 is a taper nut for attaching the wire supply guide 11 to the torch guide 14;
3 and 15 are arms supporting the guide 14, 16 is a conduit, and 17 is a torch body.

It is desirable that the wire supply guide 11 can be used in common even when the size of filler wire is changed, but for example, a commercially available stainless steel pipe with an outer diameter of 4φ and an inner diameter of 2φ is suitable as a guide for supplying filler wires with outer diameters of 1.6φ and 1.2φ. When used by attaching it to a welding torch, when it is supplied to a filler wire with a small diameter of 0.9φ or less, the filler wire 1 is attached to the tip of the wire feeding guide as shown in Figure 3, which shows the view from arrow A in Figure 2. It can swing left and right like 1a and 1b.
When using a small diameter wire of 0.9φ or less, the welding current is in a low current range, so the spread of the arc during welding is small, so the supply of filler wire 1 is required to be accurate with little runout. As described above, the conventional wire feeding guide shown in FIG. 2 has the disadvantage that it cannot be used commonly for feeding small diameter wires.

The present invention is characterized in that wire supply guides of the same size are bent and rounded, and the tip portions are pressed and molded to be long in the vertical direction, so that the inner width is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the wire used.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically explained with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 5 is a view taken along arrow B in FIG. 4, and FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the tip of the wire supply guide according to the present invention. In FIGS. 4 and 5, the same parts as in FIG. 2 are designated by the same reference numerals. 18 in the figure is a wire supply guide that is a feature of the present invention, and the difference in structure from the wire supply guide 4 shown in the conventional example in FIG. As shown in FIG. 6, the tip 18a is pressed and molded to be longer in the vertical direction, and its inner width is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the wire used. The wire supply guide 18 has an outer diameter of 4.0φ and an inner diameter of 2.0φ, which is used for filler wires with an outer diameter of 1.6φ and 1.2φ.
Made from commercially available stainless steel pipe.
When this is used for a small diameter filler wire with an outer diameter of 0.9φ or less, the tip is pressed and formed as shown in FIG. 6, and the inner width is 1.0 mm.

In this way, as shown in FIG. 4, the state in which the filler wire 1 comes into contact with the inner surface of the wire supply guide 18 is maintained by the repulsive force caused by the bending roundness of the wire supply guide 18 and the elasticity of the filler wire 1 itself. 18b, 18c, 1 on the inner surface of 18
8d, and is in tension contact at each location, and the tip portion 18a is always supplied in a state of being pressed against the inner surface 18b. For this reason, the filler wire 1 can be supplied to the welding location of the base metal in a targeted manner without swinging, and therefore good welding is possible even under conditions of small arc spread in a low current range.
