Generally, when firing a tile body, it is advisable to freshly fire it, regardless of whether the body to be fired is for a flat tile, a curved tile, or other accessory tile. This is because, firstly, if the tile body is placed upright, the area it occupies will be reduced by itself, making it possible to perform firing with high floor surface usage efficiency.Secondly, the heating of each tile body can be performed with high efficiency. This is because the area of contact with the atmosphere increases and baking can be performed with high heating efficiency. However, when firing curved tile bodies, the conventional method was to let them rest.
When baking curved tile bodies, prepare a firing table with a curved seating surface that corresponds to the back shape of the curved tile body to be fired, or a raised bed sagger with a similar seating surface. The back side of the curved tile body is placed on the curved seating surface of a stand or raised-bed sagger pot and fired. It is clear from the above that aged grilling is inferior to fresh grilling in terms of surface usage efficiency and heating efficiency, and it is also necessary to prepare special firing tables and saggers as mentioned above. . The curved tile body is originally self-supporting,
It has a shape suitable for freshly grilling. Despite this, grilling is carried out even at the expense of floor usage efficiency and heating efficiency. The reason for this is that when the curved tile body is fired in a free-standing position, the glaze on the glazed surface melts during firing, and this drips down and infiltrates the seating side of the curved tile body.
This is because, at the time of completion of firing, a phenomenon occurs in which the bent tile body is fused to the hearth surface or the bottom surface of the sagger on which it is seated. The curved tile element fused to the floor surface must be separated, but during the separation process, the curved tile element is often damaged, and the hearth and sagger are also damaged. In the end, when firing curved tile bodies, if you let them lie on the floor, you will reduce the floor surface usage efficiency and heating efficiency, and if you do fresh firing, you will reduce the product yield and damage the firing equipment, and you will have to use extra firing. There were problems such as the need for assistive devices.

The present invention was created with the aim of solving the above-mentioned problem, and the means adopted to achieve the purpose is to provide a curved tile element body that can be fired in a free-standing position, and to A protrusion was installed along the edge of the back surface to serve as a foot when standing on its own, or a protrusion was installed in the shape of a stepping stone. If the above measures are taken, when the tile body is placed on the hearth surface or the bottom surface of the sagger pot during firing, the ridges or protrusions provided on the curved side will serve as feet, and the tile The body becomes independent. In this case, the downwardly curved side surface is located slightly above the protrusions or protrusions that play the role of legs, giving the impression of a hem, and the part of the downwardly curved side surface near the glazed surface and the mounting floor surface are A gap corresponding to the height of the protrusion or protrusion is formed between them. Therefore, even if the glaze applied to the surface of the curved tile body melts and sag, this will not cause the tile body to adhere to the floor surface after firing. Therefore, there is no need to separate the tile bodies upon completion of firing, and accidents such as chipping of tiles and damage to the hearth or sagger due to fusion of the tile bodies do not occur.

Below, the footed tile body (hereinafter referred to as
The tile body (simply referred to as the tile body of the present invention) will be described based on drawings showing examples thereof. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a curved tile body 1 of the first embodiment. Kane-boku tile element 1 in the same figure
is placed in a self-supporting position on the floor 6 of the firing furnace or sagger. In the figure, 2 and 2 are curved side surfaces, 4 is a back surface, 5 is a glazed surface, and 3 and 3 are ridges specially provided in the present invention. The protrusions 3, 3 are provided continuously from end to end along the edges of the upwardly curved side surface 2 and the downwardly curved side surface 2, respectively, close to the back surface 4. The reason why the protrusions 3, 3 are provided on the upwardly curved side surface 2 and the downwardly curved side surface 2 is because either side thereof may be placed facing the floor surface 6 during firing. By providing the protrusion 3 on the edge of the downwardly curved side surface 2 near the back surface 4,
The portion of the downwardly curved side surface 2 closer to the glazed surface 5 is
A gap is formed between it and the floor surface 6. Therefore, even if the glaze on the glazed surface 5 melts and drips during firing, the glazed surface 5 will not be connected to the floor surface 6 due to the drooping glaze, and the tile body 1 will not be connected to the floor surface 6.
There is no risk of it sticking to the surface. In this way, the protrusions 3 only need to prevent the lower edge of the glazed surface 5 from joining and fusing with the floor surface 6. Therefore, the dimensions of each part of the protrusion 3 are also determined from this viewpoint. For example, if the width of the curved side surface 2 of the curved tile body 1 is 7 mm, the width of the protrusion 3 is 3.5 mm.
mm and height of 0.4 mm is sufficient. In this embodiment, the protrusion 3 is provided continuously from end to end of the curved side surface 2, but it may be disposed so as to be interrupted at the corner area, or it may be disposed so as to be interrupted at both end areas and the corner area. Alternatively, instead of the protrusions 3, a large number of protrusions may be disposed in the shape of stepping stones. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the U-shaped tile body 21 of the second embodiment, and shows a state where it is placed on a floor 6 in a self-supporting position. 22
is the upwardly curved side surface, 24 is the back surface,
25 is a glazed surface, and 23, 23... are protrusions. The protrusions 23, 23... are U-shaped curved side surfaces 2
Although two pieces are provided on each edge near the back surface 24 of 2, the number of pieces provided on each edge is not limited. Although the protrusions on the downwardly curved side are not shown, it goes without saying that similar protrusions are provided on the upwardly curved side. The width and height dimensions of the protrusions 23, 23, . . . are the same as in the first embodiment. Moreover, protrusions may be used instead of the protrusions 23, 23, . . . . FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the rounded curved tile of the third embodiment, and shows the state where it is placed on the floor 6 in a self-supporting position. 32, 32 are curved side surfaces, 34 is a back surface, 35 is a glazed surface, and 33, 33 are protrusions. Projection 3
3 and 33 are continuously provided from end to end along the edges of the upwardly curved side surface 32 and the downwardly curved side surface 32 near the back surface 34, which form a circular arc with a predetermined radius. The width and height dimensions of the protrusions 33, 33 are the same as in the first embodiment. Also, protrusion 3
Instead of 3 and 33, three or more protrusions may be provided. In each of the curved tile bodies shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the curved surface side is the glazed surface, but it is of course possible to use the curved surface side as the glazed surface. It is.

[Effect of the invention] Since the tile body of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, when it is fired while being placed free-standing on the hearth surface or the bottom surface of the sagger, the glazed surface of the tile body of the present invention is Since a gap is formed between the edge and the floor surface by the ridges or protrusions, even if the glaze on the glazed surface melts and drips down, this will prevent the tile body of the present invention from being fused to the floor surface. There isn't. Therefore, according to the present invention, the following effects can be achieved. When the curved tile body is fired, the tile body does not fuse with the hearth surface or the bottom surface of the sagger, so there is no need to separate the fused tiles, improving work efficiency. can. Since damage to the tile element body caused by separation work is eliminated, product yield can be improved. Since damage to the hearth and sagger bottom caused by separation work can be prevented, the service life of firing equipment and firing tools can be extended. Since the curved tile body can be freshly fired, the floor surface use efficiency and heating efficiency can be greatly improved compared to the case where the curved tile body is fired fresh. Since there is no need for baking auxiliary tools such as special baking tables and special saggers, which are required for aged baking, there is no need for preparation costs and management man-hours, and the baking cost can be reduced accordingly. .
