[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a flat flame burner for the purpose of forming a flat flame along the inner wall of the furnace. Conventionally, this type of burner forms a flat flame by swirling or straightening the fuel gas from the center and swirling the combustion air. In this case, since the swirling force is weakened, the flame does not spread flatly, and a long cylindrical flame is formed. For this reason, the flame comes into contact with the object to be heated, which not only makes it impossible to maintain optimal heating conditions but also adversely affects the object. Therefore, in order to obtain a flat flame, it becomes necessary to increase the air ratio, which is undesirable from the viewpoint of energy saving. Furthermore, under high loads, the center of the burner combustion chamber becomes under negative pressure due to the swirling force of the air, which sucks in combustion exhaust gas, lowering the oxygen concentration, making it impossible to obtain a stable flame, and causing the burner to turn. It also has the disadvantage of not being able to provide a large down ratio. Furthermore, this phenomenon is accelerated as the heating temperature is lower, but even if the heating temperature is high, if multiple burners are used, the combustion exhaust gas from the upstream burner will be drawn into the downstream burner, resulting in low-oxygen polluted air. This results in combustion, which further accelerates the phenomenon. The present invention provides a burner that eliminates these drawbacks, and will be detailed below with reference to the drawings. Reference numeral 2 denotes a burner combustion chamber having a flared opening 1,
A fuel gas pipe 3 is installed at a position on the burner axis on the upstream side in the burner combustion chamber 2, and a fuel gas swirler 4 consisting of a plurality of spiral grooves is installed at the circumferential position at the tip of the pipe 3. A gas ejection hole 5 is provided in the fuel gas pipe 3 on the upstream side of the swirler 4. Furthermore, a combustion air pipe 6 is provided on the outer periphery of the fuel gas pipe 3, and a combustion air swirler 7 consisting of a plurality of spiral grooves is provided upstream of the combustion air pipe 6.
The configuration is such that Now, in FIG. 2, when combustion air is introduced into the air pipe 6 and the air is jetted out from the swirler 7, a swirling flow of air is formed along the wall of the combustion chamber. Therefore, a negative pressure region is formed downstream of the swirler 7. In this state, when fuel gas is ejected from the swirler 4, this fuel gas is acted upon by the negative pressure region and partially flows back while mixing with air, as indicated by the arrow in the figure, and is ejected from the ejection hole 5. The fuel gas is further mixed with the fuel gas to form a flame holding region 8 at the base of the fuel gas pipe 3. This flame holding region 8 becomes a stable ignition source with an air ratio of about 0.9, improving flame holding performance at low loads, and at the same time exhibits stable combustion characteristics even when burning in low oxygen polluted air at high loads. .

As described above, this invention uses a unique burner configuration to create a flame-holding area at the base of the fuel gas pipe and burns this as a continuous ignition source, resulting in stable combustion even under low and high loads. It has sustainable characteristics.
