The hook 3 was formed by cutting it like this. However, in the hook member A formed in this manner, the leg portion 2' of the loop 2 faces the tip of the hook 3 in a straight line, so each loop is difficult to enter into the hook 3 when engaged with the loop member. This has the disadvantage that many loops that cannot be engaged with the hook occur, resulting in a poor engagement rate and poor bonding strength.

is hung on rollers 4 and conveyed in the direction of arrow 13. Reference numeral 5 designates a cutter consisting of an upper blade 6 and a lower blade 7, which has intermittent cutting edges 10 and 11 by forming recesses 8 and 9 intermittently on opposing surfaces. Each cutting edge 10, 11 is adapted to face one side of the loop 2. The base fabric 1 is conveyed in the direction of arrow 13, and when the loop 2 is positioned between the upper blade 6 and the lower blade 7, the conveyance is stopped, and then the upper blade 6 and the lower blade 7 are moved in the direction of arrow 12. Then one side of loop 2 is cut. The lower blade 7 stops at this cutting position, but the upper blade 6
continues to move, and as shown in FIG. 3, with the hook 3 on the upper side of the cutting part hooked on the cutting edge 10, the hook 3 is twisted and deviated from the leg 2' on the lower side of the cutting part. In this state, the hook 3 is heat-fixed. As a heat fixing method, for example, hot air may be blown onto the hook 3, or the upper blade 6 or the lower blade 7 may be heated.
Any means such as heating with a heater may be used.

いる。 4 and 5 show a second embodiment of the method of the present invention, in which reference numeral 14 designates a heat setting section disposed on a guide plate 15. FIG. A guide groove 16 extending in the longitudinal direction is formed in the heat setting portion 14. As shown in FIG. The guide groove 16
has a narrow guide groove 16' in the upper part that can deflect and guide the tip of the hook 3, and below the guide groove 16' has a height approximately equal to the height of the leg part 2', and the above-mentioned guide groove 16'. It has a guide groove 16'' which is wider than the groove 16'. One side of the loop 2 on the base fabric 1 is cut by any means, for example, as in the first embodiment.
The base fabric 1 is passed between the heat setting section 14 and the guide plate 15, and is continuously moved in the direction of the arrow 17. The cut loop continuously moves within the guide groove 16, and during this movement, the hook 3 moves into the narrow groove 1.
6' and is simultaneously heat set and heat set in the twisted state. Therefore, the hook 3 that has come out of the heat setting section 14 is in a state where it is deviated from the leg section 2' in the direction of the arrow, as shown in FIG.

上する。 As described above, according to the present invention, the hook obtained by cutting one side of the loop is twisted and heat-set, so that the hook can be deviated from the leg with a simple process. Therefore, in the hook member obtained by the method of the present invention, since the hook is offset from the leg, the leg does not get in the way when the loop is engaged and can smoothly enter the loop. Engagement errors are eliminated, engagement rate is improved, and adhesive strength is improved.
