した埋込み工法により埋設する場合に使用するも
のでこの工法によれば、くい挿入時にはくいの側
壁と垂直穴の穴壁との摩擦は殆んど零であるた
め、くいを回転してもそのねじれ剪断を起すおそ
れは無い。前記埋込み工法に用いる掘削装置は、
中空軸1の先端部に掘削刃2を設けると共に、掘
削刃2の上側には撹拌練りつけ具3、3(撹拌棒
と練りつけ杆を個別にすることもある)を適宜の
間隔で放射状に設けたものであり、この掘削装置
により垂直穴4を掘削し(第1図)、該垂直穴4
にくい5を自重により挿入沈設した後、くい5を
回転することにより押込み金具6を垂直穴4底部
に支持地盤に喰込ませて固着する(第3図、第4

斜辺を有する面の一側面13が支持地盤の泥土を
押し除け、押込み金具6は支持地盤内に喰込んで
行くと共に、長斜辺を有する面の端縁14によつ
て地盤はなでつけられる。この時押込み金具6の
下縁15は常に支持地盤内の、土層の乱されてい
ない部分と接しているから、結局この喰い込みに
よつて、くい5の下端部を支持地盤に強固に固着
することができるのである。喰い込みの際に押込
み金具6、6によつて掘削された泥土は、押込み
金具の短斜辺を有する面の一側面13に沿つてく
い5の中空部12側に押し出され、該部に溜ま
る。前記屈曲板は下縁を長斜辺9と短斜辺10と
により形成したが、等長の斜辺とすることもでき
