The present invention comprises a rigid tube and an elastic mantle member surrounding the same, the elastic mantle member having an air inlet with a check valve at a proper location, and a rigid tube body and an elastic mantle member having an air inlet provided therebetween. The present invention provides a simple joint for a tubular object, which is characterized in that both ends of the joint are airtightly connected to each other so as to form a pressure chamber.

That is, according to the present invention, on the outside of a rigid pipe, for example, an iron pipe, there is provided an elastic mantle member having approximately the same shape as the rigid pipe and having an air inlet with a check valve at a suitable location on the outside, for example, in the center of the outside. , and connect them so that both ends are airtight. In this way, when air is pressurized between the rigid tube and the elastic mantle member through the air inlet and the elastic mantle member is expanded, a pressure chamber is formed between the two. In this pressure chamber, the elastic jacket member of the joint is brought into pressure contact with the inner walls of both end portions of the two tubular objects to be joined, and the two tubular objects are joined together, and the fluid is passed through the rigid pipe body of the joint according to the present invention. It can be transferred from one tube to another without leakage. Note that the rigid pipe has enough rigidity and hardness to maintain its original shape even when a considerable external force (for example, 1.5 to 2 Kg/cm 2 ) is applied to it, such as an iron pipe or a hard PVC pipe. etc. The elastic mantle member is, for example, a rubber tube.

Grooves 1' are provided at both ends of an iron pipe 1 with S 1 , and covered with a rubber tube 2 with an air inlet 4 equipped with a check valve 3. There are protrusions 2' that are fitted into each part, and these parts are fitted, and a metal band 5 is hung to seal and fix them, thereby creating a space S2 in the other parts of the iron pipe and the rubber tube. In this case, even if there is no space, it is sufficient that both are separated.

In addition, when sealing and fixing, if the iron pipe 1, the rubber tube 2, and these and the metal band 5 are adhered with adhesive, the adhesion (sealing and fixation) will be made stronger. The band may be any other material as long as it can be fixed without stretching.

At this time, since the portion of the rubber tube 2 that is sealed and fixed to the iron pipe 1 is thick, this portion does not become locally thin and uniform expansion is obtained, thereby preventing damage such as puncture of the rubber tube 2.

The difference from the first embodiment is that in order to prevent the rubber tube 2 of the joint of the present invention from locally bulging in the middle when there is a gap between the pipes to be connected, a hard plate is installed in the center of the rubber tube. 6 was installed.

For example, Fig. 5 shows a case in which pipes C and D of different shapes are connected, but in order to prevent the part between pipes C and D where the air intake port 4 is located from bulging locally, It is.

Moreover, if the diameter of this hard plate 6 is formed into a spiral shape so that it can be freely adjusted according to the diameter of the pipes to be joined, the pipes E and F to be joined can be easily adjusted.
Rubber tube 2 to the size (Figures 7 and 8)
expands, and the hard plate 6 accordingly reduces (FIG. 7) or expands (FIG. 8) the diameter of the spiral to the inner diameter of each pipe, bringing the pipe and the hard plate into close contact. In this case, the rigid plate 6 is preferably one having enough flexibility to adapt to the diameter of the pipes to be joined, and a relatively thin metal plate or synthetic resin plate is effective.

That is, the hose is made of a spiral metal wire 7, on which a rubber tube 2R is covered and tightly adhered, and on top of this, a rubber tube 2 with a thickened part is covered and an adhesive is applied to seal it. , a spacing S 2 is provided. The rest is exactly the same as the first and second embodiments. Although the illustrated metal wire 7 is not coated, it may be coated with other materials, or a rigid tube may be formed of rubber or the like and a metal wire is spirally enclosed in the rubber tube as a core material. can also be used.

In the various embodiments mentioned above, the case was explained in which the vulcanized rubber tube 2 was used from the beginning as the elastic material. In some cases, these are placed in a vulcanizing can and vulcanized. In this case, the bonded area is dried at the same time as vulcanization, and the adhesive seal becomes strong in a short time. The hard pipe used at this time is 135 to 140
Those that can withstand the vulcanization temperature of °C are selected.

The joint of the present invention covers the outside of a rigid pipe with an elastic material of approximately the same shape as the inlet with a check valve, firmly seals the end of the pipe, and then injects air or the like to seal the pipe. When inflated, it presses against the inside of each pipe to be connected, and maintains a certain space inside the hard pipe to connect pipes, hoses, etc., so it has a simpler structure than conventional ones. The joint is extremely easy to operate (join), and is a simple joint that can connect two or more pipes of different shapes or diameters with one operation (expansion), which has been difficult in the past. The expansion pressure of the elastic material in the present invention can be easily adjusted to correspond to the usage conditions of the pipes to be connected. Therefore, they do not require any advanced technology and can be inherited efficiently and in large numbers.

In addition, the materials are relatively inexpensive, such as rubber tubes, iron, and synthetic resin pipes, and the manufacturing method is economical because conventional equipment can be used.
