形により衝撃を吸収して停止を図るようにする
か、または、停止装置またはパレツト(ワーク)
側のどちらかに単独で復元力を備えたダンパを設
けてこれにより衝撃を吸収させて停止を図るよう
なすものであるが、前者の如く衝突個所を弾性体
にしておいて、その弾性変形によつて衝撃を吸収
させる手段は、搬送物の運動エネルギーが小さい
場合、すなわち搬送速度が遅いとか、あるいは搬
送物の重量が軽いようなときは、一応その機能を
果すことができる訳であるが、しかし、変形のエ
ネルギーに変換するために、実際の設備において
使用できる大きさの装置においては、その利用可
能な範囲はきわめて限られる。これに対し後者す
なわち、ダンパを使用する手段は前者に比較して
かなりの範囲まで衝撃を吸収し、その利用範囲は
広いが、この種の装置においては衝撃を吸収した
あとの復元のために、スプリング等を利用してい
る関係上、一度停止した後搬送物が押し戻されて
しまう。その結果作業条件によつては、一定の位
置で正確に停止して固定されなければならないの
に、停止位置に誤差を生ずる欠陥がある。そこで
このスプリングなどの復元力に打ち勝つて定位置
に停止させようとすると、駆動力を必要以上に大
きくするという無駄をしなければならなくなる。

うに保持する。13はパレツト1の進行方向の前
部に当つて作動片9の前端に突出して設けたロー
ラ状のストツパ。14は作動片9の反対側、すな
わち後端に突設した逆行防止爪で、パレツト1に
形成した段部15に係合するようになしたもので
ある。

停止させることができる特長があり、しかもパレ
ツト1の再発進に際しては、ストツパ13側の第
1シリンダ3のピストンロツド7を退去させれば
作動片9の回動によつて逆行防止爪14はパレツ
ト1を進行方向に押し出すため、パレツト1の早
送りを可能ならしめることができるので、滞溜可
能なコンベヤにおけるワークの停止装置としてき
わめて有効なものである。
