この発明は、パネル枠に使用する溝形素材の絞
り加工や、その他種々の長尺材の加工を行なうに
際して長尺材の搬送位置決めを行なう装置に関す

従来、枠組み等のために第1図に示すように、
溝形の素材1の端部に幅狭の絞り部2を形成する
ことが行なわれている。このような絞り成形を素
材1の両端に行なう装置として、第2図および第
3図に示すものが使用されている。同図におい
て、3は素材1(1a,1b)を上向き姿勢で長
手方向(矢印A方向)に搬送するコンベヤであ
り、その経路にプレス加工装置6が設けられてい
る。プレス加工装置6には前端絞り用の絞り金型
装置4と、後端絞り用の絞り金型装置5とが隣り
合つて設けられている。コンベヤ3はローラコン
ベヤからなるものであり、多数のローラ7を有し
ている。絞り金型装置4,5は、素材1に外嵌す
る凹部8と素材1に内嵌する凸型9とを有してい
る。これら凹型8および凸型9はそれぞれシリン
ダ装置10,11に取付けられており、互いに対
向して昇降する。前端絞り金型装置4の凸型9に
は後方の素材1bの前端を係止するストツパ(図
示せず)が設けてある。13は前方の素材1aの

この変更作業に時間を要し、また自動化が困難に
なるという問題があつた。この問題は、素材1の
両端に孔明け加工等を施す場合にも同様に生じ、
また溝型の素材1の加工を行なう場合のみでな
く、他の種々の断面形状の長尺材の加工を行なう

プ用シリンダ18と、プレス加工装置6の近傍に
設けられて素材1の後端の通過を検知する後端検
出器19と、素材1の後端を係止するストツパ3
3とを備えたものである。後端検出器19は光電
スイツチ等からなる。ストツパ33は、後端絞り
金型装置5の凸型9に取付けられている。なお、

ランプが完了するまでの間に、素材1が慣性で移
動し続けることが阻止される。そのため、後端検
