Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a recording device enabling gradation recording by forming a plural kind of holes having different shapes and size to a film and changing the calorific values of each heating element for a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:When holes 2 are made sufficiently smaller than the size of heating elements 4, there are three kinds of different size in diameters thereof and a recording device is constituted by using a film having three kinds of the holes having these different diameters, the quantities of ink held by the holes 2a, 2b, 2c of three kinds differ, and energy required for ejecting ink from several hole differs. Accordingly, the quantity of ink ejected per a unit area can be altered by varying energy applied to the heating elements 6, thus enabling gradation recording.

処置を必要とするなどの問題があった。
