The inside of the insulating box body 2 which opens forward is divided into upper and lower parts by a partition wall 3, and a freezer compartment 4 which is cooled to freezing temperature is formed in the upper part, and a refrigerator compartment 5 which is maintained at a temperature above the freezing point is formed in the lower part. An evaporator 6 included in the refrigeration cycle is housed in the partition wall 3, and air cooled by the evaporator 6 is passed through ducts 8 and 9 by a blower 7 to the freezer compartment 4 and the refrigerator compartment 5. The air is discharged to cool both chambers 4 and 5. A cold air introduction port 10 communicating with the duct 9 is opened at the upper part of the back wall 5a of the refrigerator compartment 5, and a cold air introduction port 10 that communicates with the duct 9 is opened in the back wall 5a below the cold air introduction port 10.
A damper thermostat 11 is provided which automatically opens and closes the cold air inlet 10 by sensing the internal temperature.

The damper thermostat 11 is a general type, and includes a main body 13 that houses a gas-filled bellows or the like in a recess 12 formed in the back wall 5a below the cold air inlet 10, and a main body 13 that is housed in a recess 12 formed in the back wall 5a below the cold air inlet 10. A buttful plate 15 attached to the tip of the arm 14 extending forward and located in front of the cold air inlet 10 and moving back and forth to open and close the inlet 10; and a capillary tube 33 communicating with a bellows extending downward from the main body 13. It consists of a temperature sensing part 16 formed at the tip. Reference numeral 100 denotes a conventional case that hides the damper thermostat 11, and is formed by molding synthetic resin, etc., and has air outlets 10 communicating with the cold air inlet 10 at the front and left and right sides of the upper part.
1 and a temperature sensing unit storage chamber 102 which has a slit shape and communicates with the refrigerator compartment 5 is formed at the lower end thereof. case 10
A molded heat insulating material 103 is housed inside the housing. The heat insulating material 103 forms an operating space 104 of the baffle plate 15 in which the air outlet 101 and the cold air inlet 10 are opened.
Further, the lower end serves as the upper wall of the temperature sensing unit storage chamber 102. Reference numeral 17 denotes a knob for adjusting the set temperature that penetrates through the case 100 and the heat insulating material 103 and projects forward from the main body 13. The damper thermostat 11 opens the cold air inlet 10 at a predetermined upper limit temperature of the refrigerator compartment 5 and closes it at the lower limit temperature to adjust the amount of cold air inflow, thereby maintaining the inside of the refrigerator compartment 5 within a predetermined refrigeration temperature range.

作する欠点を有していた。 It is preferable that the temperature sensing part 16 of the damper thermostat 11 senses the temperature of the circulating cold air in the refrigerator compartment 5, and when exposed to the cold air directly leaking from the cold air inlet 10, the temperature will be lower than the actual temperature of the refrigerator compartment 5. The drawback is that it senses temperature. Therefore, conventionally, a sealing material is inserted between the edge of the case 100, the heat insulating material 103, and the back wall 5a, and the cold air inlet 10 is connected to the case 100.
However, the temperature-sensing part 16 is blocked by low-temperature cold air flowing down from the insertion part of the arm 14 and capillary tube, and gaps caused by molding distortion of the insulation box. It had the disadvantage of malfunctioning due to cooling.

The damper thermostat consists of a main body, a full plate that extends above the main body to open and close the cold air inlet, and a temperature sensing part that extends to the front of the lower part of the case so that it is exposed to the cold air in the storage room. A portion of the heat insulating material is positioned behind the temperature sensing section, and a cold air passage opening downward from left to right is formed between the heat insulating material and the inner wall.

The refrigerator 1 shown in FIG. 1 is used as the refrigerator, and since the same reference numerals in the figures are the same, the explanation will be omitted. Fig. 2 is an enlarged sectional view of the structure of the damper thermostat 11 according to the present invention, Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the case 20 of the present invention, Fig. 4 is a front perspective view of the heat insulating material 21, and Fig. 5 is the rear side thereof. FIG. The case 20 has a through hole 23 passing through the outlet 22 and the knob 17 as in the conventional case, and furthermore, in the present invention, a rim 24 is formed at the front of the lower end, and a notch 25 extending left and right behind the rim 24 is formed. The heat insulating material 21 has an opening 26 corresponding to the air outlet 22 and a movement space 3 for the buff-full plate 15 communicating therewith.

A passage 23 and a notch 34 that penetrate through the insulation material 21 in the front and back, a notch 36 that maintains a gap with the back wall 5a and forms a cold air passage 35 extending from side to side, and a temperature sensing part corresponding to the slit part 24. A notch 38 forming a storage chamber 37 is formed, and is molded from, for example, foamable synthetic resin. The temperature sensing section 16 is introduced into the storage chamber 37, and the heat insulating material 21 reaches the lower end of the case 20, so the heat insulating material 21 exists behind the temperature sensing section 16, and there is a A cold air passage 35 is formed which opens to the left and right and extends from side to side. Through this cold air passage 35, the leaked cold air discharged from the inlet 10 and flowing down along the notches 28, 31 or between the insulation material 21 and the back wall 5a is actively flowed down to the refrigerator compartment 5, and furthermore, the presence of the insulation material 21 As a result, cold air directly from the inlet 10 is not directed toward the temperature sensing section 16, which prevents malfunction of the damper thermostat 11 and eliminates the need for a sealant between the heat insulating material 21 and the back wall 5a. .

Since there is insulation material between this cold air passage and the temperature sensing part, this leaked cold air will not reach the temperature sensing part, and this will prevent the damper thermostat from malfunctioning. can be prevented. Furthermore, since the conventional sealing material between the heat insulating material and the inner wall is not required, the number of parts is reduced, the cost is reduced, and the assembly workability is improved.
