本発明の眼鏡用フレームにおいて、芯材にチタ

面層に金張りを採用した理由は、チタン又はチタ
ン合金をそのまま用いたフレームでは、表面仕上
げ、溶接性、貴金属とのメツキ性等の点で不十分
だからである。又、ブロンズ層を中間層に設けた
理由は、チタニウム又はチタニウム合金からなる
芯材と表層の金合金との密着性を良くする為であ

いる。そのバネ性は、弾性率ではモネル(硬質)
の18200Kg/mm2に比べて、11900Kg/mm2とやや劣る
ものの、冷間におけるスプリングバツクは、冷間
ステンレス鋼曲げ加工の場合の約2〜3倍であ
り、そのバネ性は十分に満足できるものである。
又、金張りである為意匠性は高く、貴金属メツキ
