However, when the veneer obtained by cutting this natural wood is aesthetically adhered to the surface of ordinary plywood (lauan plywood) to make decorative plywood, and this decorative plywood is used as an interior wall material, furniture material, etc. Not only did it have problems such as fine wrinkles and fine cracks appearing on the surface due to changes in humidity during its use, but the beauty of the decorative plywood surface was also limited to the grain pattern of natural wood, and it still had a rich variety of colors. This was not satisfactory in that it was unable to produce a clear pattern.

This idea was made to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and its purpose is to prevent moisture absorption and desorption caused by changes in humidity when decorative plywood using veneer is used for indoor wall materials, furniture materials, etc. This not only makes it possible to minimize dimensional changes and external changes caused by the process, and prevents fine wrinkles and cracks, but also allows you to create a variety of richly colored patterns with the grain pattern of wood boards made of the same or different types of wood. To generally provide a veneer for decorative plywood that can be exposed at the same time.

The outline of the manufacturing method of the decorative plywood veneer of this invention is given in Section 3.
As shown in the figure, a vulcanized fiber sheet 2 of a desired color and thickness and a wood board 3 of the same or different material and thickness are laminated in multiple layers in a desired order, and an adhesive (not shown) is applied between the layers. Block 1 is created by pressing and bonding with press A with
The veneer 4 according to the present invention is obtained by cutting it thinly so that it has a thickness in the range of ~1.2 mm. The vulcanized fiber sheet 2 used in this invention can be of the same or different color and thickness depending on its purpose and design, and is made of base paper made of cotton or wood fiber with cellulose adhesive. It is immersed in a solution of zinc chloride at a certain concentration to react appropriately, then laminated to the required thickness, soaked in water to remove enough zinc chloride, dried, and finished by pressing. is extremely precise;
It has great mechanical strength, excellent elasticity, high electrical insulation, weather resistance, and abrasion resistance, and is a material that combines the characteristics of wood, metal, plastic, rubber, leather, etc.

In this way, the vulcanized fiber sheet 2 of the desired color and thickness and the wood board 3 of the desired material type and thickness are bonded together using a wood adhesive (any wood adhesive may be used) (not shown). The third
Block 1 is made by pressing on upper and lower press plates A in the desired order as shown. The order in which the vulcanized fiber sheets 2 and the wooden boards 3 are stacked can be combined in various ways depending on their use and design. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the wooden boards 3 and the vulcanized fiber sheets 2 may be alternately stacked, or vulcanized fiber sheets of different colors may be stacked successively between the wooden boards. Next, block 1 obtained by overlapping and gluing
Thickness 0.15mm to 1.2 depending on its intended use
It is cut in a range of mm using slicer B as shown in the third figure. Figures 1a and b show decorative plywood veneers cut from blocks made by laminating and bonding vulcanized fiber sheets and wood boards in the desired order. FIG. 1b shows a case in which vulcanized fibers of a desired color and width are interposed one layer at a time, and FIG. 4' is shown. The veneer thus obtained is adhered to the surface of plywood using an adhesive in a conventional manner to obtain decorative plywood.

As can be seen from the above description, this invention is a decorative plywood board made by interposing one or more layers of vulcanized fibers with a desired color and width between the side end surfaces of thin wooden boards made of the same or different materials arranged side by side. Since it is a commercial veneer, if the veneer is attached to the surface of plywood as a decorative board and used as an indoor wall material, furniture material, etc., the veneer will not expand or contract due to changes in humidity during use. The fibers play the role of a kind of elastic cushioning material, and as a result, dimensional and external changes can be kept to a minimum, and fine wrinkles and cracks can be effectively prevented.

In addition, it is not only possible to simultaneously create various combinations of grains of thin wood boards of the same or different types, and one or more layers of vulcanized fiber with a desired color and width interposed between the thin wood boards, but also Unlike when a different colored pattern is applied on top of the wood grain pattern, the color does not fade over time or the colored pattern peels off, making it even better from a design perspective. .

Example: With the beautiful side of the wood in the thickness direction, 2cm thick cylindrical plates and 3mm thick red vulcanized fiber sheets are stacked alternately. After inserting the sheet and applying vinyl acetate-based water-based adhesive Euroid 344 (manufactured by Tohoku Euroid Co., Ltd.) between the layers, it was hot pressed at a pressure of 20 kg/cm 2 .
It was pressed at 90°C for about 5 hours. After that, this was removed to obtain an elongated block. Next, use a slicer to cut the block to a thickness of 0.7 mm using the beautiful grained surface of the block as the cutting surface.
mm veneer was obtained. This thing is in beautiful wood 4
It became a book with a pattern of red straight lines.
