Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a coil to have a large inductance by a method wherein a coil is composed of a thick film magnetic pattern constituting a closed magnetic path, a plurality of pads provided between the path and an insulated substrate in such a manner that they intersect said magnetic path, and the wire with which the adjoining pads are connected surrounding the magnetic path of the magnetic pattern. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pads 11 are arranged radially on a substrate 10, and an insulating material 12 is formed thereon. After an annular magnetic pattern 13 is formed on the insulating material 12, the adjoining pads 11 and 11 are connected using a wire 14 astriding the magnetic pattern 13. The magnetic pattern 13 is turned to a core, a core is formed by the pad 11 and the wire 14, and a coil body is composed of the above-mentioned materials. As the pads and the wiring of wire can be increased easily, large inductance can be obtained.
