Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the misdetection of a start control signal by a voice or the like from a telephone set by detecting a start signal again when a facsimile main body and a telephone line are connected. CONSTITUTION:When the start signal is sent from an opposite party via a terminal 3 or if a noise corresponding to the start signal is invaded from a telephone set 4, a 1st control signal detection section 5 discriminates it as 'the start signal is detected', connects the facsimile main body 1 to a telephone line to attain the facsimile communication enable state. On the other hand, a 2nd control signal detection section 6 detects whether the start signal is fed from the opposite party or not. If the detected start signal is not a normal start signal and ' the start signal is detected' is discriminated due to the noise corresponding to the start signal invaded from the telephone set 4, then the line is disconnected from the facsimile main body 1 and connected switchingly again to the telephone set 4 to bring the mode into the communication enable state. Thus, no hindrance to talking is caused.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, according to such a control signal detection device,
Even though the other party's device does not actually transmit the control signal to start the facsimile, it determines that it has detected the start signal due to the noise coming in from the handset, etc., switches to facsimile communication, and then starts the communication procedure. There was a problem in that calls could not be made until some kind of abnormality was detected.

This problem arises for the following reasons. In other words, noise such as voice from the telephone is mixed in on the telephone line where the activation signal is being detected, and this misjudgment is due to the fact that the noise is mistakenly judged to be a control signal for activation. Controls the line switching means to disconnect the telephone from the telephone line and connect the facsimile body to the telephone line to switch to facsimile communication, while facsimile communication is when the telephone line is connected to the telephone and communication is possible again. This is because the 7-axis IJ communication termination condition is satisfied due to an abnormality in the procedure or the like.

As a countermeasure to this problem, a method can be considered to provide a dedicated circuit between the telephone and the telephone line, which removes the frequency component of the facsimile activation signal from noise such as the voice of the local telephone. However, this method did not provide an appropriate solution because it degraded the sound during a call and required a dedicated circuit, making the device complicated and expensive.

Embodiment The control signal detection method of the present invention uses, for example, the factors shown in FIG. Applies to remote equipment. The configuration of the facsimile machine shown in FIG. 2 is as described above. In this embodiment, the first control signal detection section 5 and the second control signal detection section 6 constitute a control signal detection means. A control signal detection method according to an embodiment of the present invention in this facsimile machine will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.

Normally, the line switching unit 2 is in a state where the telephone line and the telephone set 4 are connected (step (hereinafter referred to as ST) 11), so that the telephone set 4 can be used to make a call. In this state, the first control signal detection section 5 performs a process of detecting whether a facsimile activation signal (hereinafter referred to as activation signal) has been input (ST12). And the operation is 5T1
The process advances to step 3, where a determination is made regarding the detection processing result.

No activation signal is being sent from the other party via terminal 3,
In addition, if the activation signal or the noise equivalent to the activation signal is not input to the first control signal detection unit 5, such as when the telephone 4 does not generate noise equivalent to this activation signal, the first control signal is detected. In section 5, “start signal not detected”
Therefore, the operation returns to STI, and the processing from STI is repeated.

When it is determined that the activation signal has been detected (5T16), this series of processing steps is completed and the process proceeds to facsimile communication.

On the other hand, if the 5T13 determines that the activation signal has been detected because the noise corresponding to the activation signal is mixed in from the telephone 4 instead of the regular activation signal, it is detected that the activation signal is not a regular activation signal. The same process (ST14.5T15.5T16) as in the case where it is determined as `` is performed. However, since the noise mixed in from the telephone 4 has been cut off when 5T16 makes a decision, it is determined that "no activation signal has been detected" and the operation returns to 5T11. It is disconnected, and then switched and connected to the telephone 4 again to return to a communicable state.

In addition, for the purpose of simplifying the explanation, the 7-axis IJ device to which this embodiment is applied has a case in which the control signal detection means is composed of a first control signal detection section 5 and a second control signal detection section 6. is used as an example, but it is not necessarily limited to this. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, a control signal detection means is provided between the terminal 3 and the facsimile main body 1, and this control signal detection means detects when the telephone line and the telephone set 4 are connected and when the telephone line is connected to the telephone line. The activation signal may be detected in a state where the facsimile main body 1 and the facsimile main body 1 are connected. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, it is provided with one control signal detection section 31 and a switching section 32 that always connects the control signal detection section 31 to the smeared communication line that is switched in conjunction with the switching of the line switching section 2. Alternatively, the control signal detection section 31 may always detect signals on the line.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, the present invention detects a control signal for starting a facsimile during a call state in which a telephone line is connected to a telephone set via a line switching means, and detects a control signal for starting a facsimile. If this is the case, do not take this as a final decision, but use the line switching means to temporarily disconnect the telephone from the telephone line.
The activation signal is detected again when the facsimile machine is connected to the telephone line, so the configuration is simple, and the reliability of signal detection can be improved by blocking noise such as voices from the telephone. As a result, signal detection can be performed in an extremely short period of time, and if it is determined that no control signal is detected, the telephone line and telephone can be quickly connected again using the line switching means. There will be no interference with calls.
