2. Description of the Related Art Hitherto, as an insulated rectangular electric wire, one in which an insulating tape is wrapped horizontally around a rectangular conductor is known. Since this insulated rectangular electric wire has an insulating tape wound horizontally, the degree of tape wrapping of the horizontally wound wire may be uneven or the conductor may be exposed during coil forming, which may cause an electrical weak point.

In order to overcome the above-mentioned difficulties, a method has been proposed in which an insulating tape is placed vertically on a rectangular conductor and the overlapping portions (seams) at both ends of the insulating tape are bonded together with an adhesive or the like. However, with the above-mentioned insulated rectangular wire, it is difficult to completely adhere the entire seam of the tape, and the work must be carried out while applying the adhesive, which has the disadvantage of poor work efficiency.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings. The figure is an explanatory diagram showing an example of an insulated rectangular electric wire manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention, where 1 is a rectangular conductor, and 2 is a 2K, for example.
Plastic film tapes such as nylon film, polyimide film, polypropylene film, kraft paper, aramid paper, etc. that can bond tapes together using ultrasonic oscillation of Hz to 80KHz.
In addition to aromatic polyamide paper tapes such as cloth, insulating tapes such as glass tapes, inorganic tapes such as mica tapes, and composite tapes of the above tapes are used. The tape is formed vertically so that both ends of the tape overlap. The tape forming tool 3 has an inlet hole 31 into which the rectangular conductor 1 and the insulating tape 2 provided on the outer periphery of the rectangular conductor 1 can be inserted. It is in the shape of a die with holes, and has an opening 32 on the upper surface of the die that exposes the overlapping portion 21 of the tapes. Reference numeral 4 denotes an ultrasonic oscillator provided above the opening 32 of the forming tool 3, which applies ultrasonic waves to the overlapped portion 21 of the insulating tapes through the terminal 41 of the ultrasonic oscillation device 4, and join. 5 is iron, which is attached between the tape overlapping part 21 to which ultrasonic waves are applied and the rectangular conductor 1;
A thin-walled splint made of steel or stainless steel, etc., the splint 5 prevents horn scratches on the surface of the rectangular conductor even when high-frequency ultrasonic waves are oscillated when the overlapped portions of the tapes are joined by ultrasonic waves. It acts as a shield to prevent the formation of The splint plate 5 has a wall thickness that does not interfere with molding the insulating tape 2 onto the outer periphery of the rectangular conductor 1, for example, 10~10 mm.
A material with a diameter of about 300 μm is used. The other end 51 of the splint 5 is fixed at an appropriate location (not shown), and the splint 5 does not move with respect to the running direction F of the wire during the manufacture of the insulated rectangular electric wire, and the splint 5 is attached to the rectangular conductor 1. placed above.

In order to manufacture an insulated rectangular electric wire using the apparatus according to the present invention described above, the rectangular conductor 1 and the splint plate 5 are installed on the conductor in advance, and the insulating tape 2 is placed on the outer periphery of the insulated rectangular electric wire with the overlapping portion 21. After laying the conductor 1 vertically so that it is exposed and extending it into the tape forming tool 3, the conductor 1 is
At the same time, the tape overlapping portion 21 exposed in the opening 32 of the tape forming tool 3 is
By bringing the terminals 41 of the ultrasonic oscillator 4 into contact and applying ultrasonic waves, the tape overlapping portions are joined,
Can be easily manufactured.
