後その装着が正しいかどうかを外観から確認でき
るようにすることを目的とするものである。

て設けられている。また前面部41の裏面には前
記上突起6と相対して反対方向に突出した下突起
7が一体形成されている。そして車壁5の開口穴
50には前記下突起7が挿入する挿入部51が開
口穴50に連なつて開設されている。これによつ
て車両用灯具1が正常に装着されると、第2図に
示すように、下突起7は挿入部51に位置する。
また誤つて上下逆転させて装着させようとする
と、下突起7は開口穴50の周縁に当接して車壁
5と車両用灯具1との間に隙間が生じ、取付作業
者に誤装着を知らせることができる。さらに車両
用灯具1が上下逆転のまま装着された場合におい
ても、第3図に示すように、上突起6がランプレ
ンズ3のカツト面31に当接しランプレンズ3を
